We stayed at the Kodaikanal Lake View Resort for an anniversary trip. The resort is very nice and well maintained. Service is decent too, though might be sloppy at times. Major Red Flag: Their in-house restaurant is super expensive - Buffet priced at 2000/- per person inclusive of GST offers very average food equivalent to Rs. 100 to 200 a plate in a generic restaurant. Very limited dishes (2-3). We ended up paying 4k for one roti and paneer sabzi 😥. Most expensive meal we ever had, in India or abroad 😅 Apart from that, there are a wide range of activities to enjoy at the resort. Overall, a costly stay, but a good experience.

The stay here was nice and all the amenities are good. We enjoyed the stay here. The staff are very generous. The place is near to the lake so we get lake view from the resort. We enjoyed the stay. The staffs in the front desk are very nice. They helped us and all the check in formalities were smooth.

Overall an awesome experience as usual that goes with any Sterling stay. The staff at lobby and especially restaurant made us feel welcome always. My 7 year old had a great time interacting with staff, playing at discovery center and getting customized food choices. Ended up making friends especially Sahil. Now he wants to come back again for his birthday.

Great location very close to the lake/ Walkable from lake Clean rooms with comfortable sleep Food and drinks are reasonably priced Good variety of food The housekeeping team is excellent The front desk is manned by a very helpful team Will stay again
