We really know this hotel by my friends… the stay was so good … hospitality was very good… room ambience and interior decor also excellent… food they have so much varieties … pool area was so nice.. temp maintanence also good…gym and archery also good… totally we enjoyed complete package

Excellent hospitality, food was awesome and service was prompt. Special thanks to Chef Ranjith, Chef Selva and Restaurant manager Dinesh. They went out of the way to ensure customer delight. Chef Selva special dishes and his local tourism insights were delight!

The place at which Tamara Kodai is located is astonishing. For lunch the restaurant has facility to sit out side and has beautiful view. When we went the temperature was only 18degree Celsius so we enjoyed the place very much. They also had indoor games which was very good for passing time.

Great overall experience. Special thanks to Mr Dinesh and team for a great hospitality. However I would like you to focus on adding in more menu on the A-lacarte menu and your swimming pool needs upgradation/refurbishment. Your minibar at room should include freebies or chocolates etc and guests checkin should have welcome drink. Room was good and cozy bed.

When my shoulder bone got dislocated at night, hotel staff arranged a car and took me to a nearby hospital. One person prepared a temporary sling to mitigate my pain. A young lady Pritika was very helpful. She consoled my wife during this trying period

Nice menu especially the South Indian foods are very tasty and stylish.. Had a wonderful dinner ..everyday menu new innovations added by South Indian chefs..hope they will continue the services in future also ..everything is freshly prepared items ..

Liked: 1) Concierge / Bell hop: Great job - Arrival & departure was very smooth by person on duty on that day 2) Front desk: Excellent team; Meenakshi requires special mention here - we were made to feel welcome even though they had a crowd around them. Check-in was swift & smooth. We were welcomed with nice warm Sukku kappi from Prithika; this was so refreshing after our 9 hours journey. 3) Buggy ride: we were taken smoothly over to our resort by Velan on a buggy & yes Meenakshi accompanied us to our room & carried our luggage up the stairs. Her room tour was excellent especially to be careful of our friendly neighborhood monkeys & that not to leave the balcony doors open. 4) Room: a. First impression – we were blown away by the lake & valley view from both the room & balcony. There was a complementary welcome bowl with many fresh local fruits, chocolates, brownie, cookies ***** with a warm well written welcome card from Shan Shajiram, AGM. As were late for lunch & early for dinner, this gift keep us satiated. b. Sink-in – furniture, doors & windows were all solid wooden; special mention on the ceramic tile art works embedded into all the dark wooden structures makes them look & feel rustic ***** with sloped, red tiled roof & matching rustic look fans. Toilet was top notch clean & bright. c. day-2-day usage – very comfortable bedding, with abundant toiletries & extra accessories already in the room. Moving around was very convenient with excellent partition design between rooms, toilet, balcony & the huge window. 5) Housekeeping: The spotless toilets, filled up snack bar, every available accessories & the best part is the towel art on your bed ***** with simple yet beautiful designs through flowers & plants was so heart touching. We in fact did not want to disturb the beautiful art that we rested on the diwan for as long as we can 😊 Priya (towel art - twin swan) was always there to help & checking us up regularly if we might need anything at all; great work from Rani, Latisha (towel art – rabbit) & Bharathi. Sorry I couldn’t remember the two great gentlemen who bought in the extra bed & more extra mattress when we complained about the hardness of the previous one. 6) Restaurant: we were eagerly looking forward to the dinner as we were famished & tired from the long drive but all that immediately vanished as soon we saw the smiling welcome faces at La Providence! All CSAs, Sr.CSAs, supervisors, captains & the whole bubbly team: a. Sanjana – Ever ready to help & always by your side when you think of asking something! b. Samuel – Ever Smiling & greeting person that will make you a smiling person as well c. Sasmita – Just let her know if you need anything & it will be there in a blink d. Bikash, Hami, Ragavan, …..The list is long & I wanted to mention all by name; the least we could do as a shout out for their exemplary customer service as their title rightly signifies! e. Had visited for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. Great food and hospitality. Mr. Dinesh was a great host and took care of all our requirements. Also want to thank other staff members Sanjana, Rakesh, Deb, Shree and Suhail. The best place in Kodaikanal for dinner.
