While walking the Shikoku Ohenro pilgrimage, we stayed here for three nights. Hotel is about 7 minutes walk from Kochi station, 5 minutes walk from Kochi’s famous Hirome Ichiba where you can sample delicious tataki (seared bonito sashimi) and many other foods at reasonable prices. This hotel costs half as much as other hotels called by the tourist information center. WiFi worked great. 24- hours coin laundry is 2-3 minutes walk away. An inexpensive but delicious yakitori-ya is near the coin laundry.

It was a level that can be clearly understood to the voice. The wall is lined up with Toyoko Inn. The cherry blossom room key is not a card key, so one by one, the key must be left at the front desk. I feel that the carpet cleaning is not enough. Amenities such as cherry blossom shampoo are minimal. The quality is never good, so it is better to bring people who care. The sound of the ventilation fan in the bathroom was very big. The front desk did not grasp the location of the bus stop. Naturally, there was no concierge, so I had to check it myself. It is an average business hotel. It is better not to expect excessively, but if you have stayed in Toyoko Inn, it is easy to understand if you think it is equivalent level.

Location, price and room size are star 5. The location is good in the middle of the city. The price range is cheap. It is old but wider than I thought. The atmosphere of the receptionists was good and very kind and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a website that is easy to find in English so we went through a travel agency to make reservations. Weren't sure what we would get. Our point of comparison are Japanese business hotels which we presumed this was. However, while costing a bit more, the rooms were large with a separate shower area from the sink. Great view of station. Choice of no daily cleaning but fresh towels delivered daily. Breakfast has 45 min seating times. Nice Japanese breakfast selection. We stayed 3 days and there was a slight variation each day. While location is most convenient to the station and surroundings, the main tourist areas, e.g. Sunday market, are about a 15 min easy walk. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

When I was looking for a new hotel as much as possible, this hotel was a hit. Since I used an airplane, I decided here because it is close to JR Kochi Station. The room was clean and clean, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. I was able to walk to sightseeing such as shopping streets, Sunday markets, Kochi Castle, Harima and Bridge. For breakfast, I had a Tosa Campach set meal at the adjacent shop ”Ekimaeno Camel”. It was very delicious and I was able to enjoy the breakfast that is typical of Kochi Prefecture. I was able to spend a meaningful trip to Kochi Prefecture.

If you are going by JR, you can also climb the back road of Naoto for 4 minutes from Hakawa Station and about 5 minutes from there. The signboard is secretly coming out, but the road is hard to understand and when the sun is over, it doesn't feel dark to walk & it is quite slippery after raining, so it turns around the corner of the Koyaki shop that has been around from the public road for about 12 minutes The road to go (about 900 meters away from the road that comes out in Google maps) is recommended for ordinary shoes. Or you can go from ino station by taxi for 1000 yen (as of 2022) in 7-8 minutes. The hotel transfer is only ino station at 16 o'clock (reservation is necessary), so I think it would be better to ride it if the timing is right. The hotel is said to be the facilities of the inn of Kanpo at the height of the year, but I think it is still cleanly maintained. One thing I was worried about was that there was a dried insect in the lighting of the fluorescent lamp in the room, so it might be better to clean it occasionally. It may be no choice because it gathers in the light. I stayed for a long time at the pilgrimage and the activity of the ninyodo gawa River, but I am generally very satisfied.
