As a couple from different countries who met in a foreign land but now reside together, we sought an intimate wedding with 33 guests. Rawi Warin stood out among the 20 resorts we researched on Krabi/Ko Lanta due to its remarkable beauty and elegant ambiance, ultimately leading us to book our wedding there. Throughout the planning process, the resort's communication was frequent and efficient, ensuring all our queries were promptly addressed. Upon our arrival three days before the wedding, we were struck by the well-maintained gardens, picturesque pond, and exquisite buildings, all of which contributed to the resort's appeal. The resort staff was undoubtedly the highlight of our experience, displaying genuine warmth and hospitality. They consistently greeted us with smiles and ensured our needs were met throughout our, and our guests stay. Rawi Warin's wedding package included essential elements such as decor, flowers, stationery, a wedding officiant, wedding cake and a wedding coordinator, making the planning process more streamlined. While an outdoor wedding was not possible due to weather conditions, the resort efficiently transitioned to an indoor setting, which turned out to be equally enchanting. The attention to detail in the wedding arrangements and the quality of service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations. The resort's pool was also a standout feature, and the surrounding natural beauty added to the overall allure. Very satisfied check-in experience. After arriving at the store, I added 100 RMB a day to upgrade the room type. The room was very big, and I didn't allow an extra bed if I brought a baby, but in addition to the double bed, there was one bed that was enough for an adult to sleep. We used it for stacking things. Air conditioners, electric kettles, hair dryers, umbrellas, hangers are all available, and the separate toilets are also large, with wet and dry partitions. The shower water is not very hot, but compared to the hot weather, it can’t use very hot water. There is a small terrace outside each room where you can dry clothes and drink tea. Although the hotel is not big, the environment is good and quiet. The room faces the swimming pool and the swimming pool faces the sea. The beach is much better than the one in Krabi. You can go barefoot. The sunset by the sea is beautiful. The hotel staff has a very good attitude, breakfast is not rich but full, small hotel suitable for vacation and leisure, nearby 711 convenience stores, pharmacies, restaurants, fruit stalls, night market barbecues, and reservations at sea are very convenient. If you are bringing a child on Lanta Island, it is recommended to live in the northern part of the island, which is more convenient for transportation and supporting facilities. The southern part of the island is indeed a bit deserted and it is not very convenient for shopping.

So, we had very few choices on Lanta as booked last minute and this was an option. My expectations weren’t that high. We’d probably be looking toward 4* more of the time. So all in all it was decent. Large, comfortable bed and clean, decent size room. Good views from our room. How shower, good aircon, cold fridge / freezer. Good location between the best areas. Need moped Wifi was rubbish in our room, unusable. Not sure if it’s like that throughout the hotel. Had to hotspot my data. Need to ask for room to be cleaned. All in all good value. Not our usual choice but stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed it. Yes, could do with some finer touches.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alama Sea Village Resort! It's a short walk down to the restaurants and beach, but it's a completely different feeling coming up to the view of the mountains and the beach. We stayed in a two-room cabin that has a small terrace with outdoor stairs between the rooms. The view was fantastic (we stayed quite high up) the large windows have a film cover to keep heat out and people from looking in, it worked very well. The rooms were very prettily furnished and clean (no insects or lizards to be seen), although one of them had less good storage than the other. The beds were softer than others we encountered, but not super soft. The pressure in the shower wasn't great, but that is perhaps to be expected when it is so high up. The cottages are located with their backs to each other, which made them very private. The hotel grounds are nice with frangipani trees and hibiscus, but have a few blemishes here and there, but nothing that bothered us. We didn't see or get disturbed by any monkeys during our stay. There are a lot of stairs, of course, with such a location. The pool was absolutely gorgeous against the wonderful view of the mountains and the beach. However, it gets hot in the morning when the sun is directly on, but in the afternoon it is more shady and cool. The pool area is not very big so I was worried at first that it would be crowded there, but it never was, it was very peaceful. The breakfast was very good and served with an incredible view in the upper restaurant, although sometimes there was a lack of seats in the shade. We only had lunch at the hotel twice and then unfortunately the service was very slow. Also note that they don't serve alcohol. The staff was very friendly and nice and the receptionists were very helpful and friendly with good English. If I were to give some improvement tips to the hotel, it would be to maybe have a chair or stool on the patio in addition to Thai cushions, beanbag and hammock. Maybe they should also make another row of sun umbrellas instead of the rear ”shelf” with beanbags that they have today, that's rarely used. We didn't dare lie there in case the kids fell down or you dropped stuff. A nice touch though was that the rooms came with a pretty basket to carry beach towels etc. in! Overall we enjoyed ourselves very much in Kantiang Bay, it was quiet, beautiful and cosy. The beach is incredibly beautiful and quite unexploited with the mountains in the background, although it is not chalk white as is sometimes said, and there are rocks in the water that are noticeable especially at low tide. There is also nowhere you can rent sunbeds and hardly any accessible natural shade. We recommend afternoon swimming and the restaurant ”Same same but different”, which is nicely located under trees at the southern end of the beach (where there is a completely rock free patch too).

We loved our stay here! We originally only booked 2 nights but ended up staying for another 4 because we loved it so much. The host and all the staff were so friendly and kind! The host even made the whole hotel food and we all ate together - it was delicious and so much fun! The room we had was very nice and we thought the beds were comfortable especially for the price. You can rent mopeds, get your laundry done and he can even help you book all your transfers and day trips at really good rates! It was a really great location with lots of great places to eat nearby. It was also a 2 minute walk to The Sound Shack which is a lovely beach bar. We definitely plan to come back and stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with our 2 children. On arrival we were shown to a room that smelt strongly of mould and mildew. The lady on the front desk who appeared to be the manager was extremely rude and demanded that we pay extra money in order to change to a room that did not smell. Our new room had heaps of ants but we just put up with it. The breakfast is cooked to order western food. The breakfast was very ordinary. I chose a waffle on the first day but it arrived all dried out and shrivelled up. My kids chose croissants and they arrived soggy and covered in oil so from then on we stuck with boiled eggs and toast as it is hard to get that wrong. They don’t seem to put a lot of effort into cleaning the rooms. Most days we would just come back to clean towels and water sitting outside our room. The only good things about our stay were the nice clean pool and the location of the hotel being a 2 minute walk from seven 11. We stayed at the hotel in April and it was close to empty.

I am very grateful to the architects, you have made this hotel beautiful, especially the one bedroom pool villa facing the sea is beautiful! The first impression it gave us was luxurious and shocking! The most expensive room type of this hotel is unique on the same beach. In addition, even if you book a normal room, you can also enjoy the beautiful public swimming pool. What doesn't match its expensive price, however, is its service. Except for the proprietress, other staff, including the hotel front desk and restaurant waiters, could not communicate in English normally, which caused a lot of inconvenience during the check-in process. Regardless of the room type, even the 4,000-night villa pool room does not have any welcome fruit, or any other value-added services or small items to give you the feeling of a ”VIP”. The cleaning service of the room is not timely, it is embarrassing to always clean when the guests are there! And the cleaning is relatively sloppy, the table is not wiped... In addition, the breakfast buffet is mainly bread and eggs for Westerners, but there is no cheese, no cold cuts, and even jam and yogurt only have one flavor. I saw the disappointed eyes of other foreign customers. When we asked if there was an Asian breakfast, the waiter told us: sorry, no! Well... the same breakfast for four days in a row is a bit boring, and we also had very stale bread on the last day... In terms of drinking, there is no freshly squeezed juice, but fortunately, the freshly ground coffee in the hotel is really delicious. In addition, although there is only one employee on duty at the pool bar, the cocktails he made are really good, especially the mango daiquira recommended by the boss, which tastes amazing and tastes better than the first five-star hotel on the island we went to later. . Everyone must try it. In short, we still had a wonderful holiday in the hotel. After all, when traveling, mentality is very important. It's just that every time I think about the price we paid, I feel it's not worth it...

Of course, there is really no need for our family of three. But not something you can bring to me. Because I defaulted to paying for the entire room. No matter how many rooms I think I have the right to use. (In the end we didn't use it because we didn't want to burden the cleaning staff, and indeed we didn't need it) because we were scheduled to go to Krabi Airport at 5 pm. So after hotel check out (2pm). The BOSS of the hotel arranged another villa for us to rest. Thank you so much. However, the lady at the front desk who wore a hijab led us to the living room without air conditioning. It's still hot in July. This makes me uncomfortable. I don't know if it was the headscarf lady's own idea or the decision of the hotel boss. Don't criticize me, you are picky and picky when you live in a free room. The day before, I directly mentioned how much it would cost to add money for a delayed check-out. Mr kwun said it was free. I just decided to rest at the hotel. . How could I know that the price was too high or there was no air-conditioning? It doesn't matter if I just book a cheap hotel for rest. The kindness of the original boss was taken to the living room by the turban lady to rest. I fell asleep and woke up from the heat. uncomfortable. Later, I applied to the boss again, and went to sleep in an air-conditioned room in the bedroom. The hotel boss also agreed. But I don't know why there is an extra twist.
