The venue is local to me and my wife and we've enjoyed many meals of late and also booked out tables for family celebrations. We did this last week and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Carl and his team couldn't have done more to make the occasion one to remember. Nathan behind the bar was kept busy but attended to everyone's needs most capably. Bottom line...we will becthere again soon and I know that several folk visiting for the first time were so impressed so as to say they will be returning!. Fingers xd it stays this way ...keep up the great work guys !!

Comfortable room, reasonable price. Excellent service. Charlotte was friendly and efficient and anticipated our requirements for breakfast on the second day.

Lovely hotel in great location
Lovely hotel in great location, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very clean with all necessary facilities for a great stay. Breakfast was frshly cooked to order and very tasty with good selection, serving staff we're very accommodating ans knowledgeable

Very pleasant experience throughout. A special mention for Amy who looked after us very well. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious and extremely good value. The hotel is well positioned for access into Manchester or to the motorway links.

Stop off here for a quick coffee and toilet break . Was welcomed by a charming lady with a beaming smile , Told her I was just after a coffee and she said no problem what so ever . Think her name was Amy , Very chatty and welcoming , with all the customers why I was there which was only a half hour .

Great location, friendly helpful staff, good service.
The shower screen was short of the side of the bath so flooded the bathroom and soaked my towel.
This definitely needs attention.

Always a good steady experience of many years and they excel at Sunday lunch. Generous portions and swift service from staff we know, like being with old friends especially Amy and all the serving team who look after you even when busy. We both had beef and the guests had turkey. All spot on and delicious desserts.

We have been to the golden Pheasant today for a meal… we hadn’t pre booked but was found a table in the bar area very quickly. The service and welcome of the staff was outstanding and attentive. The food was incredible… I might even say the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had!! :-) Already recommending to family and friends. We will definitely be returning. :-)

Called in The Golden Pheasant on a cold grey day to receive a very warm welcome. Excellent service, nice and cosy and the food was just perfect to say the least. A very pleasant lunch, the steak was perfect and cooked just to my liking. I will certainly visit this establishment again, one of my favourite places to dine. "PERFECTION"
