I have been a daily customer for about a month now while i have some personal things going on. I’ve had no issues thus far and have always considered Microtel my first choice as a room especially if one is on a budget. The staff have been been here for years and are very kind. It’s a safe and conveniently located hotel, breakfast in the morning, sometimes early check in as long as you just call and ask ahead of time it’s usually fine, comfy sheets and bed, the cleaning staff does an excellent job and are very nice.

Very nice hotel, clean, bright and convenient, right on campus. Parking is $ 20, which is a bit expensive. UTK is much more beautiful than when I was studying, I like it. Cumberland Avenue in front of the hotel is wider and cleaner than before.

The location is kinda in a weird spot but it’s easy to find. It’s about 15 min from downtown Knoxville. The rooms need to be updated and the pillows are small (there little squares). The hotel is good if you need to stay for a night and just lay your head.
