The pillows weren't the fluffiest, however the front desk reservationist was nice and accommodating. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh, actually Maintenace was sweeping and mopping as I was checking in. My room was clean and smelled fresh. The room was nice and bright. plenty of towels and the kitchenette area was clean including the refrigerator. Overall, the stay was a yay and I will stay there again as well as recommend Mainstay to a friend.

The room with kitchenette is perfect for my long term stay. The desk staff and housekeeping are friendly and efficient. The room is clean and quiet. The beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. The location in North Knoxville is excellent.

The beds are very comfortable! I loved having a kitchette! Traveling as a woman solo I felt safe, plenty of locks on doors and good lightening. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The desk clerks were professional and personable. Also, having several restaurants near by, some within walking distance was a big plus!

The night we came in the lady at the front desk was nice. Bkfast was disappointing. The room smelled stuffy and like cigarette smoke. The air conditioner didn’t work properly. We checked out early. No eye contact by the person on checkout. The lady that checked up in the night we arrived should train the other staff on customer service. Don’t think I will return to that location.

Disgusting and rude
First, we pulled in and there was a guy standing in the parking lot panhanding and another had his vehicle up on a jack fixing it in the parking lot. Front lobby bathroom was disgusting, had to clean seat before sitting, there was a gap in the stall stuffed with TP. The receptionist was lazy and rude. There was an alarm going off the entire time we was in the lobby and all she had to do was walk over and hit a button for it to shut off, she'd rather sit there. Did not stay after this, we found accommodations elsewhere.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it functioned exactly as intended. It provided a comfortable and convenient experience without any major issues. One of the highlights for me was the blankets — they were cozy, soft, and made winding down after a long day especially relaxing. Small touches like that really made a difference in my stay. The kitchen was also a major plus. It was well-equipped with everything you might need to prepare a meal, whether you’re cooking a full dinner or just warming up some leftovers. From utensils to cookware, it felt like the hotel had thoughtfully anticipated guests’ needs, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. While the hotel may not offer luxury amenities or extravagant decor, it definitely meets the essential needs of a traveler looking for a simple and reliable place to stay. It’s a practical option for anyone who values function and comfort without unnecessary frills. I would absolutely consider staying here again, especially if I planned on preparing some of my own meals during the trip. A good experience overall, and certainly worth recommending to others looking for a straightforward and comfortable stay
