I have been a Bonvoy Marriott member for a long time and stay at Marriott chains frequently. We recently went townePlace suites Cedar Bluff location in Knoxville TN. it was absolutely nasty. the floors were gross, the room smelled musty, water stains all over the ceiling, bathroom light would not work, tub was stained and cracking all around the drain, we had to leave, as I was not comfortable staying. they would not cancel our room and still charged us a night stay. they did discount it, but that is not really sufficient, especially given my long time loyalty. This hotel is a DUMP!

Do not stay at this hotel! I wish I had reviewed these reviews before I stayed here. We got in late and I'm counting the minutes till we can get out of here. It's musty and stinky. I'm not going to walk bare feet on this carpet. The Bath tub has stains. If anyone from Marriott is reviewing this post, please get the name of Marriott off of this hotel. This hotel is below Motel 6 standards. IT'S TOO LATE FOR ME. I'm ALREADY HERE TONIGHT BUT PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. My husband went out to buy lysol. We arrived late with no where else to go tonight. I WILL NOT COME BACK HERE. This place needs to shut down or change the name to Motel 6.

We stayed here for a week and would recommend it The staff at the desk- Eric, Tara and Aaron were friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and we liked the layout, especially for a weeklong stay.

It was very noisy. The traffic from the highway kept me up, the people in the next story woke me up and the guy with the boom box outside at the grill was disturbingly loud. The breakfasts were very good and the server was very pleasant.The back corner where all of the smokers hung out could be better lite. I was concerned parking there.

After waiting 45 minutes in lobby, our room wasn’t available. We had to go to another hotel for the night, and go back the next morning to get our room
