GET AWAY FROM IT ALL! This Cabin was built in 2017. It is an open floor plan with Flat screen TV, a queen bed, sofa that has a fold out twin bed and a lounge chair that has a fold out single bed. There are also 2 cots if needed for additional guests! If you are looking for a secluded and quiet spot to stay while trout fishing, floating the river, enjoying one of the local wineries, getting away to enjoy nature/peace and quiet or just like drinking coffee in your underwear all day on the porch this is the spot for you! We strive to maintain a very clean and comfortable stay on a well maintained piece of property. Large fire pit area and bbq grill on site with seating. Awesome view of food plot with a abundance of wildlife. It has a fully equipped kitchen With everything you will need to cook Your meals before a day of fishing and the bathroom with it’s big walk in shower with dual shower heads is great after a cold day of hunting! The cabin is located in the scenic Ozark mountains and is 300 yards from the parking lot at the start of the Woodson K. Woods conservation area with 5,658 acres of public hunting land. Once your at the parking lot a hike down what locals refer to as "cardiac hill" provides fishing access to the heart of the renowned Meramec River Red Ribbon Trout Fishing area, this is a gated conservation road leading to the Meramec river and is about 1/2 mile long hill, going down is a breeze coming up takes some cardio! Hence the name “Cardiac Hill”. There are several river access you can drive to within minutes to swim or fish, just ask and we will be happy to help you find the perfect one to hang out on for the day! THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW: -We do not have river frontage and you can not see the river from the cabin. -From the cabin to the river is a just over 1/2 mile walk using the public cardiac hill access. - To get to this cabin you will have to drive down 3 miles of gravel road. -The towns of St. James and Cuba are both about a 15 minute drive from the cabin, where you can find several restaurants and grocery stores. *Hunting is NOT allowed on the property!* -Federally protected Wildlife refuge area-About pets:No pets allowed.Ask us for exceptions.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.Great place for kids, plenty of room to play.About customRules:No hunting allowed on property.About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.Please smoke Outside.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.Ask us for exceptions.
