Quiet location. Beds are comfortable but could use some updates. Upholstered chair should be thrown out as it’s very dirty and smells. Nice refrigerator and coffee maker. Very friendly front desk staff.

The good: good safe location, appearance ok, breakfast is decent and well kept. The woman with the Jamaican accent at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The bad: we stayed two nights and no one came to our room to clean or replace our towels. The woman at the desk had to get some towels for us. Very perplexing and avoidable since we were gone all day and the room was available to clean. Upper management should walk the 2nd floor hallway and see how bad it smells. It needs the carpets cleaned and sanitized to smell better. This would change the whole vibe as it is very distracting and makes you question the cleanliness of the place. Not a bad place with a few changes it could be much improved.

This is the hotel to stay in Evansville. The price is very affordable and the location to all that Evansville has to offer is amazing. The hotel staff that greets you in the lobby is always very helpful. The staff that clean each room are always on top of their game. Not to mention the beds are some of the most comfortable beds you’ll find in town. I’d recommend the Clarion to anyone who is traveling for business or pleasure. You won’t regret it.

Handicap accessible has a bathtub; can't get in!
Breakfast was poor; waffle maker broke, li.ited amount of eggs and sausage, gravy was poor.

Fantastic Stay
The front desk people were so incredibly nice. The breakfast included some hot options which were wonderful and a pleasant surprise. The lobby is colorful and a delight. The place was clean and I felt safe.

not staying there on my nest visit to Evansville
When I made the reservation for the room, I specifically requested a handicap room, knowing that they are suppose to have a walk in shower of a roll in. Had neither one, I have a bad back and right knee hard to get into a tub shower. NO water pressure, there was a shower chair to put in the tub, would not fit like it is suppose too. ad t turn it sideways, still to long, had to use it, first time I have taken a shower sitting in a chair facing the bathroom. Also was under the impression that our room would be serviced every day. We had one towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth to last us for 3 nights or days. It took a genius to find the guide for the tv.one of the lights next to the bed did not work. Chain at the desk would not roll on the carpet squares on the floor. Receptacle were not located like they should have been according to the building codes. Entrance door from the hallway would not close by itself, no closer. the entrance door at the end of the corridor would not lock
