The facilities are very poor. The hotel only has a good front desk and lobby. There is not even an elevator. We had to carry our luggage upstairs by ourselves.
The room is very small, more than 10 square meters, but the information says it is 23 square meters. Two suitcases can't be put in. There is no view from the window. The bed is very small. Everything looks old and dirty.

Goldsborough Hall hosted my wedding day, the weddings team go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble, they are amazing at what they do and this should not go unrecognised. From start to finish they could not have done anymore. They eased my nerves on the day which I am forever grateful for. The rooms are immaculate, extremely comfortable beds and have all the extras in the room to make this special. All guests commented how beautiful the venue is and how gorgeous the food is. I would absolutely recommend weddings, meals and overnight stays. I am very picky when it comes to food and overnight stays but this ticked every box. Thank you Amanda, Alison and Mel from the wedding team. You are all so very amazing ❤️

£52 for two glasses of fizz. I could have bought a bottle + for that price. Turns out they were charging us £20 gratuity. I prefer to make my own decisions when it comes to tipping and believe me, the rude smirk I received from the person charging us (not the lovely waitress) was certainly not worth £20. If she wants a tip- mine would be, learn some customer service!

Service and accommodation excellent. We booked for the Taster menu and it was exceptional. We have had the Taster menu before and the standard is consistently extremely high, Michelin star standard fine dining.

Having returned from a 2 night stay at Goldsborough Hall, we want to say what a beautiful place to stay. The owners are passionate about their home and are clearly proud of what they have achieved. Goldsborough Hall is of a high standard. The rooms are lovely and everywhere is spotless. We only ate at breakfast, which was so well presented and enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Oh, and what beautiful gardens - sitting on the patio on a summer's evening was heaven. We hope to return.

Absolutley amazing afternoon tea and to walk around the grounds afterwards is a delight. Wow... if you love plants, extraordinary views and some luxury, Goldsborough is surely this. Thanks to everyone who accommodated us so willingly for my 60th Afternoon Tea with friends and family. Impeccable service and surroundings.
