The first 2 days were all good, but then the sea brought a huge amount of garbage and dead fish. The smell was unbearable. No one cleaned up the garbage, during high tide the garbage ended up in the sea again. It's terrible! You can't go into the sea. We were forced to leave a day earlier. The place is very secluded, there is nowhere to change money, we waited for a taxi for an hour. But this would have been an advantage for us, if it weren't for the garbage(

This was my second stay. The location is excellent, the beach is beautiful, and it's clean. The service was excellent. When I returned to the resort at night, it was dark. This hotel was in a great location, great service and awesome atmosphere! We even booked another night. The hotel has two swimming pools, a decent restaurant as well as beach access. They also offer scooter rentals, as the hotel is located far from any major areas of civilisation(closest 7/11 is about 4kms away), a scooter is very useful to get around and affordable. A word or caution though: The entire coastline on arrival was filthy, and we thought it was to be the case for the whole holiday, while the hotel made efforts to clear trash washing ashore it's kind of futile because there's so much in the water. This isn't the hotels fault and I'm led to believe it's a huge issue on this coast line. However, I am very happy to say on day 2 the water cleared up completely and was as clear as the ocean around Ko Samet! Overall this hotel is a great choice for a few days of quiet beach relaxation. We took a bus from Bangkok to ban phe then got a grab ( I never had issues using grab here or finding a car, as other travellers warned me would be the case) One day I will return!

The hotel is old, but the owners and staff are doing everything possible to breathe new life into it. It is obvious that the facades of all the buildings have been updated, there are fresh chairs and sun loungers and many other small things. Quiet location right on the beach. Very hearty breakfasts. And delicious dishes from the menu in the restaurant. I give it a rating of 4 with a stretch.
