No drinks in the hotel bar , hardy anything available on the menu when we asked . Reception area was like something out of papillon ,  we left after a week and we had booked 3 weeks , couldn’t get away fast enough . I read some other review mentioning the creepy manager , well they weren’t wrong , hiding in a little room and jumping out on us every time we returned .

I travelled as a solo traveler and did not know what to expect. Upon arrival Sharlene and the staff made me feel welcome. Fresh juice in the morning was delicious. The Swahili night with local food was amazing. Thanks Sharlene for having dinner with me😁. Everything was well organised and the day trip with snorkelling and seafood on the boat was my favourite. I will be back soon !!

The Bella Vista Hotel is wonderful. The staff is really friendly, they helped us with everything and made our stay very comfortable. Sharlene is the best! They were very resourceful and assisted us with booking activities, getting a SIM card, and told us many things about the country. The hotel is located right on the beach, which makes water activities very convenient. The views are really amazing. The hotel restaurant is very good, with fresh homemade food, always offering several options. The fruit is wonderful, and bottled water is always available. This is an incredible place that I highly recommend visiting.

This is a cozy hotel in African style with a homely atmosphere, caring and attentive staff, good location and a relaxing environment. The hotel has everything for real relaxation, incredibly delicious food and giant portions, the chef cooks individually for the taste preferences of each tourist, the bartender makes amazing cocktails especially mojito, they do not skimp on ingredients. The waiters all speak understandable English, I especially want to thank young Felista, she is in my heart now forever ❤️ and in principle, almost all the staff in the hotel know English well, so we did not feel the language barrier at all. The rooms are cleaned daily with floral decoration and new figurines on the bed. By the way, there are no blankets in the hotel, but we were given two sheets to cover ourselves with, each of our requests was resolved instantly, thanks to guest relations Charlene, she lives this hotel and is its soul, she monitors every detail in the hotel. I really liked the landscaping, each All day long, from early morning, gardeners manually processed the soil and all the vegetation on the territory, cut the grass and dry branches with pruning shears, each bush and flower was under the close supervision of gardeners, so our morning began with beauty. Frankly speaking, I haven’t felt such attention and care from the hotel for a long time. The hotel has a large swimming pool with comfortable wide sun loungers and umbrellas, there is also a small one, but we didn’t go there. I liked the ocean because it is warm and keeps you well on the water, but the first few days there were strong low tides and the sea came with algae, on some days there was practically no algae, it didn’t bother me much, since you can walk a little to the depths and the water is already clean there. A big bonus for us was the early check-in and late check-out, since we arrived at the hotel very early, around 9 am, in theory they should have given us a room at lunchtime, but the manager John said that everything would be organized now and they would give us a room soon, not even half an hour had passed since Charlene checked us into room 18 with a view of the garden, everything was in good order in the room, clean and tidy. The same story with the check-out, we were picked up from the hotel at 17.30 in the evening and until that time no one we were not evicted from the room, maybe we were lucky, but no one has canceled the merit of the staff of this hotel, they try to please and make the stay of each guest comfortable without exception. Also, Charlene offered us to purchase a sea excursion to the island of Pingumi, we were satisfied, so you can safely book it. To summarize all of the above, I want to thank each employee of the hotel Charlene, John, Felista, Naima, Matilda (responsible for cleaning the rooms), and other wonderful people. I hope that we will someday again visit this paradise called Bella Vista ❤️❤️❤️
