Kiwengwa Bungalow Boutique Resort

Ambiente accogliente e discreto. Abbiamo ordinato anche le cotolette alla milanese, sono arrivate delle “cose” fritte, ripassate nel sugo e molto speziate. Immangiabili! Il resto della cena discreto e nella media. Prezzi accettabili ma porzioni scarse. Da non ripetere!!!

Il KBB offre un’atmosfera familiare ed accogliente, sin dal primo istante. I conduttori, Jana, Ivana e Vladimir sono molto cordiali ed attenti a soddisfare ogni necessità dei clienti. Lo staff è molto professionale e sempre sorridente. Le stanze sono pulite e spaziose, con arredamenti tipici del luogo, condizionatore e ventole al soffitto. I letti a baldacchino hanno le zanzariere ma, per fortuna, non abbiamo visto una zanzara. Il ristorante della pensione offre un menù ricco e la possibilità di usufruire di mezza o pensione completa a prezzi vantaggiosi. Anche mangiando alla carta i prezzi sono in linea con quelli dell’isola. Le stanze affacciano su una bellissima piscina dove rilassarsi al ritorno dalla spiaggia. Dalla pensione non si vede il mare. Ma basta camminare una 50na di metri per arrivare alla spiaggia privata del KBB, un vero angolo di paradiso. Troverete lettini con cuscini e sedie, e decidere se mettervi al sole o in ombra. La spiaggia di Kiwenga è lunghissima, non vi stancherete di percorrerla a piedi verso destra o sinistra. Lato spiaggia il KBB offre anche lo storage per l’attrezzatura sportiva (kite, wing, sup, etc…). Infine, la spiaggia è servita dal Kbb beach bar, un ristorante italiano di altissima qualità condotto splendidamente dallo chef Domenico e da Maria. Qui troverete cibo e bevande a tutte le ore del giorno, da gustare direttamente sulla spiaggia o nella comoda area ristoro, protetti dal sole e dal vento. Durante la settimana abbiamo mangiato qui a pranzo tutti i giorni e cenato tre volte, come fossimo a casa!!! Grazie per la splendida vacanza!

Tolles Bungi. Bequem geschlafen. Viel Platz. Fast ganz Mückendicht. Frühstück ortsüblich gut. Brotangebot nicht ganz Schweizer Standard. Bademöglichkeit im Meer bei Flut super. Sonst für Poolfreunde auch gut. Alle sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder.

Family atmosphere, well-kept garden, decent restaurant with honest prices. A few dozen meters from the beach, shame about the tons of seaweed that almost prevented entry into the water. The bungalows are run down, old bathrooms, very little natural light inside. Inadequate quality-price ratio.

We spent three days in this great quiet hotel composed of several straw hut houses around a beautiful swimming pool and a very well maintained exotic garden. Our room was very functional with a beautiful space and a furnished terrace. Every day our bed was remade with a little attention (flowers, drawing with the bed sheets ....) Maria and Domineco with all their staff are very caring and very kind. We enjoyed the fish every evening and the hearty breakfasts. Meals can be taken by the pool or by the beach. The fresh fruit cocktails are delicious and served with small homemade acras and chips. Sheltered sunbathing is available on the beach. We do not know if paradise exists but this place looks like it. Staying in a nearby Aparthotel (Kuwa Zanzibar), a few days we used the private beach of the Kiwengwa Bungalow that faces the sea by paying a certain amount per person, if I remember correctly $10, using the services, including wi-fi, sunbeds and umbrellas, we also ordered sandwiches, fruit salad, snacks, desserts, juices for a quick lunch and had dinner one evening at the Resort Restaurant where we tasted dishes cooked by Domenico the Chef, such as homemade pasta, and fish of the day with a touch of Italian, all tasty, at honest prices. The structure is nice and cozy, with a few bungalows and a nice swimming pool, it is located 50 meters from the Kiwengwa beach. Beautiful location, very quiet, beautiful stretch of sea.
