Very dissatisfied. It was still dark. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the lights of the snowplow shone into the room, in front of the room, and back and forth, which affected my sleep very much! I was woken up and couldn't fall asleep. It went back and forth for at least half an hour! The service was terrible.

Everything was good. I was also glad that I learned how to make a fire! The staff told us that we could roast marshmallows in tiipii and gave us extra marshmallows. But the stove was cold and there was no fire. Later, an employee helped us to light the fire, but after she left, the kindling went out and the wood did not light. To roast the marshmallows, we tried to make a fire ourselves and finally lit the wood after 20 minutes of effort. Roasting marshmallows was delicious and fun.

Not really suitable for families. Probably great for a couple but not really child friendly. One night is definitely enough. The glass igloo is great but customers service needs a little attention. The menu isn’t child friendly. To go to activities it’s a 10 minute taxi ride into Levi costing 35 euros on way. If one can afford an igloo with a hot tub maybe it would be a different experience.

Our family of three stayed here on Dec 10, 2024 with my sister and her family of three. She got a suite which was nice. Unless you get the suite then I guess it would be a 4 star at most. I paid $1000+ for 1 night for this regular Igloo room - it was cramped and feels so weird with a bed in the middle of the room. The shower was even worse. The shower could only fit one skinny person. AND no one mentioned that after 10 minute hot water turned to COLD. My 7 year old had to take a cold plunge shower which he was crying for 3 minutes. They did not mentioned to us that hot water is limited during check in. The worst part about this place is the FOOD. Holy mother of god, if the management of this place is reading this, please CONSIDER adding a variety of foods for guests. Not just reindeer or deer meat!!! There were only two options: deer meat or raw artic char. We had to resort to eating ramen noodles that we packed from home because I was warned that the menu for their dinner was dismal. I cannot stop with how bad the food was. The best part about this place is their special oatmeal for their morning breakfast which was included. In my opinion it is the worse $1000+ spent for a hotel stay. Just terrible and NO VALUE. I would not stay here for the food alone. People stay here for the Instagram Influence. Beware that not everything on IG is real. The igloo itself is nice but not $1000 nice. If the food was at least decent then I wouldn’t mind paying $1000 plus. Service was sketchy. Some of the female staff were giving me an attitude upon checking in. The only positive thing with the service when I called for 3 pillows and it came in a reasonable amount of time. I usually don’t write reviews but this place compelled me to write one.

nice igloo, toiletries nice, food awfull really not for us and no choice to order anything else. had to pay for tap water in restaurant. raw fish and deer. people not told to turn there lights off which spoilt our photos. not value for money. marshmallows were a nice touch and fire. not much privacy when on the toilet from main room, and shadows of bodies when in bathroom. main building lit up too much to get decent photos causing light pollution. all that said that we saw the light which were amazing

My daughter and I stayed here for one night earlier this week. What a nice, comfy place to stay with great views. Beds were ridiculously comfy. The entire back half of the igloo and roof is glass and you have unobstructed views. The hot water is awesome...some of the best hot water in any hotel I've stayed in. The main inn was nice and cozy. They had coffee, hot chocolate and a restaurant. The food was presented great and to us, it was good, but just not something we are used to. There was nothing wrong with it, we just don't eat a lot of Lappish-style food. I would absolutely stay here again. We unfortunately didn't get to see the Northern Lights, but you can't predict nature.

The overall experience was incredible! The food, the service, the staff. The igloo was equiped with everything needed! I am sure that anyone who stays here will feel the magic of the Arctic Circle. I want to mention the spectacular food. The chef deserves a Michelin star.

I took my partner to Levin Iglut for 2 nights as a surprise proposal and had the most perfect trip. Not only was the location, accommodation, food and scenery incredible, but the staff were extremely attentive and friendly, helping me plan the trip via email for two months prior to arrival. We had the 5-course menu at Utsu both nights and we're massively appreciative that the chefs curated an entirely different set menu just for us on our second night. The breakfast was also great. It had hints of a European 'continental' breakfast but with rich, local additions such as wild berries and smoked salmon. As for lunch, I would highly recommend paying for the 'Lappish Delicates for two' prior to arrival, this was a great selection of local foods and perfect for snacks between breakfast and dinner. The room itself was extremely warm and well-equipped, particularly considering the remote location. Around the hotel, we utilised local walks, a warm tiipii with an open fire, and the private sauna and hot tub — all great. Finally, our trip was made 1 of a kind by Erkki, who runs 'Artic House Safari' and provides private tours from the hotel. He picked us up from the airport in his lovely Landrover, spent Saturday taking us to the top of the mountain and capturing beautiful photos of the proposal, then out hunting the northern lights Saturday evening, and back to the airport Sunday. At every step, he went over and above expectations to make the trip as perfect as possible. Just the coolest, nicest guy. Will be returning in the early spring to see more of the snow, go skiing and see the huskies. Can't wait.
