This hotel is very lovely, we stayed at the main hullo poro hotel and had one night here. The room: The room was cosy and comfortable. As there was four of us, the two sofas were converted into sofa beds, which made the room feel slightly more cramped, but not any less enjoyable. If you are planning on staying here with more than two people, i do not recommend more than one night because the room was quite small and isn’t ideal for a whole week away if you enjoy your privacy. As you enter the room you are greeted with an entrance hallway, which was perfect for all of our big coats, hats, scarves and snow boots. The bathroom was also lovely, clean and quite spacious. Location and aurora: The hotel is very far away from the town, while this is good as it gives you a better chance of seeing the aurora, if you are looking to be there multiple nights, it is a hassle to get the bus to and from the town and it feels quite isolated. Make sure to check that there is a high chance of an aurora before arriving otherwise the experience can be quite disappointing. The ceiling was fairly clear, the heaters prevented snow from settling on the top, unfortunately the aurora didn’t appear during my visit, however it was still lovely to sleep under the stars. Elves village: The pyramids are about a 5 minute walk from ‘The elves village’ , the breakfast we had there was very pleasant, the food was nice and the atmosphere was lovely and festive. The night before we went to look around the village and it was surprisingly empty, there wasn’t much open after it got dark at about 3 or 4 o clock but we were offered a free reindeer ride around the village. The next morning we went back to explore and here is what we found: Santas grotto to meet santa, christmas baking sessions, a kids playhouse, a snowy trail through the woods, and a slope to sledge down. Overall this hotel was a great experience for the one night. I strongly recommend.
