I believed the reviews.The property does not reflect what was written. We would never stay here again. Prepay is non refundable Does Maine have hotel inspectors? This hotel used to be nice .The land is a pleasant setting ,but the hotel is neglected. This makes me wonder about Tripadvisors system. I will never fully trust their reviews again.

This hotel was average. It met out purpose, but it was nothing special. The stairs and carpet in the hallways need to be cleaned/vacuumed. The ceiling in our bedroom was cracked and showed signs of water intrusion. The place in general needs a little TLC. However, it was ok for the price and it was a clean place to lay our heads.

Dirty and outdated. Breakfast was box off doughnuts. Their email server was hacked. Some foreign company offered me a lower rate if I canceled and booked with them! Now I get foreign emails from fake companies. This place says pet friendly. It should say for pets only!

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. We were upgraded to 2 queen bed room even though we only needed one bed. Room was huge. Bed was very comfortable. Nice touch to have 2 luggage racks. We were only staying one night so we didn't have much luggage. Good size fridge with freezer. Room had microwave too. There was continental breakfast but I can't speak to that because we didn't have it. Location was good as we had an event nearby. Would not hesitate to stay again.

This is an older hotel, but it is very well kept. The employees are very friendly and helpful. My room was large. It came with a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is located by the outlet mall and the Kittery Trading Post. The rates are reasonable. Checking in and out is quick. I am making this my go to place to stay in Kittery.

Shortly after booking thru a travel website I received a text message from the property offering me a cheaper rate. Although I agreed I never received a confirmation email (after several requests). Then I found a rate even less than what the property offered so I asked that they cancel my original reservation, they never responded. When I called to cancel the reservation, I found out I had two reservations and subsequently 2 charges on my credit card / which should not have happened until I arrived at the property. The person who answered the phone was rude, so I cancelled both and will stay someplace else. Not worth the hassle.

We recently stayed here. Our first “clue” about our stay was the rat bait trap placed outside our room - and then noticed they were by several other rooms. The room was so small that my husband and I could not leave both of our suitcases open at the same time. The bathroom was the “star” of the show: there was a tub/shower, the the bottom of the tub wiggled as I took a shower- which while taking a shower, the bathroom floor flooded. The bathroom fixtures used to be gold-toned - and are now a charming corroded gross former gold tone. There was a free breakfast that there was no way we would participate in - based on how our room was. We made a terrible mistake in staying here.

the only 2 things that were good was the bed and the hot shower. the driveway and the rest of the hotel definitely needs to be updated and repaired. it is way overpriced. the breakfast was crappy too, i asked for the AARP rate but was still charged 257 a night, which included the dog fee and taxes.. next time i'll book the hampton inn

1st to note - very comfortable beds. We were tempted to spend our whole vacation there. Right on Route US 1, but surprisingly quiet. Nice breakfast. The usual continental breakfast, but warm sausages and little egg patties were also provided. This worked well for us since my neighbor and traveling companion just likes toast and orange juice, while I like to start the day with protein. My neighbor is handicapped, and there was a slight step over the doorsill, but that was the only impediment to her rollator. Swimming pool seemed clean, but it was too cool to go in. Rollator could just go through the bathroom door, not sure a wheelchair would. Obviously an older motel, but that didn't spoil the visit at all. Right in the middle of the outlet malls for you bargain hunters out there.
