We stayed at the Northern Motor Inn for five nights August 1-6,2024
The two double beds room was so small you could not get around one side of either bed.
The room was very old, dirty and in need of repairs. One of the lights by the beds was missing a switch so you couldn't turn it on. The shower head sprayed the entire bathroom. They painted the bathroom ceiling and left the blue tape all around the ceiling.
After two nights and no housekeeping we stopped at the front desk to get clean towels. The front desk clerk ran literally around to a couple different areas only to come back and tell us there were no extra towels in the hotel. I realize it's a busy weekend but really there's no pool here and they have no extra towels for the rooms. The room was only cleaned one day out of the five nights and really was just the beds made and maybe the bathroom counter wiped. The floors were not cleaned or vacuumed. And never received clean towels. There was a towel that was behind the toilet that never moved. There was cat food behind the bathroom door that never moved in five days.
At check in the front desk lady was very short never explained that there was a breakfast included. I just happened to look at their site and realized that they had breakfast included. When we inquired about it the third morning we were given the coupons. if every hotel in the area wasn't full we would have found different accommodations. there is a nightclub on site very loud till 2am

Very nice rooms, very nice showers. Comfortable beds and free breakfast. Big tv and cold AC. Good parking and very close to down town. Just about 6 kms away. Restaurants and liquor stores, gas stations and just about anything you need. Walmart is just around the corner.

This place has gone down hill in a hurry under new ownership. Unhappy staff. High prices. Poor quality. Poor internet. Poor TV package. Not happy with this place anymore! Now they are charging drivers $20 just to have a shower. They are bringing in all foreign workers and pushing long term employees out. Terrible atmosphere!

It is what others have stated. The location has broken items such as bathtub hardware and door lock. The beds are ok but the quilt had stains, as did the walls and ceiling. Dated room decor. Unused areas of the room were dirty.
