Peppered with historic buildings, informative signs, and relics from times long past, the trails wind past babbling brooks out to Juneau’s best beach where views of Gastineau channel are made all the more beautiful by a backdrop of precipitous waterfalls cascading down to the shore. Sandy Beach Playground is a short jaunt further down the beach or trails.
