Aunt Ding is gone, but Dingdaer Hall still speaks of a time that seems to have slowed down in Bingzhongluo. Facilities: You'll find everything you'd expect from a high-end B&B here. Rooms are stylishly decorated with local touches, there are shared spaces that cater to both active and quiet needs, and, of course, comfortable seating and beds. However, most rooms lack TVs for binge-watching, and there's no gym. If you're looking for some entertainment, chat with the staff or other guests; you might even find something unexpected—like an intoxicatingly sweet persimmon. If you're looking for exercise, you can help out in the fields with some real farm work to see if that's the kind of life you yearn for. Cleanliness: Both the guest rooms and public areas are immaculately clean. Bathroom amenities are reliable, well-made, and branded. The food is also impeccable, using fresh organic fruits and vegetables from the garden, free-range chickens and ducks, and beef and pork sourced weekly from the market. The hotel's open kitchen ensures peace of mind. Service: Enthusiastic and heartfelt. Excellent service doesn't necessarily require a trained, professional smile and standardized rhetoric; it can also be about a genuine desire to connect with every guest and a commitment to the well-being of the place."

"Personally, I think the location of the B&B is quite good, because it is on a small mountainside by the river. The key is that there is a step road behind the B&B that leads directly to the river and to Taohua Island. It has its own parking lot, which can accommodate about six or seven cars. There is a small yard and pavilion, which is very suitable for relaxing and staying for a short period of time. The boss is a very typical Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan person. He is enthusiastic and sincere, and answers all your questions. He also tells you how to play Bingzhongluo and enter Tibet. There is a small black dog in the B&B. He is very lively and likes people to play with him. Personally highly recommend staying here."
