Dormy Inn Kitami

The hotel is not far from Kitami Station and has 5-6 parking lots, but there is only one indoor parking lot that can accommodate only 4 cars. It is recommended to arrive as soon as possible to park in winter. It is very close to the most famous Kitami Shijo offal, and Kitami BBQ coupons are also sold, so you can buy them and enjoy them. There is also a free bowl of ramen in the evening, which is delicious! The hotel has a hot spring where you can soak for free. There is Yakult during the day and popsicles at night to enjoy after soaking. The room is spacious enough to accommodate two suitcases.

I came to Kitami at this time of year for three years in a row. The year before last I stayed at Route Inn Grande, last year I stayed at Toyoko Inn, and this year I booked the newly renovated Dormy Inn Kitami because the plan on this website was cheap. I don't smoke, but I was able to stay in a smoking room for cheap, so I chose this one, lured by the low price. When I entered the room after checking in, I naturally smelled cigarette smoke, but even more than that, there was a strong sewage smell coming from the drain in the bathroom! In this room, the bathroom was not next to the toilet, but was located on the opposite side of the toilet from the toilet on the corridor from the door to the bed, and there was no stopper to fill the sink with water (hot water), so I ended up smelling sewage all the time...! To top it off, there were peanuts scattered under the desk, probably dropped by the previous guest. In other words, the room was not cleaned properly! I checked in late, so I went to sleep that day, but the next day I pressed the "cleaning" button and went out. Anyway, I returned to my room around 3pm and although the towels had been replaced, they hadn't vacuumed it and the peanuts were still lying around... I ended up calling the front desk and they brought a vacuum cleaner. The best thing was the breakfast... The white curry and stir-fried pork and onion were especially delicious. However, I didn't get to try the seafood bowl (though I stayed for 4 nights^^). I also appreciated the large selection of comics. It's a great way to kill time.
