This charming boutique hotel in Milimani is a hidden gem that truly exceeded my expectations. I had the pleasure of spending a few serene days here to relax and recharge, and I found myself drawn in by the stunning photos and glowing reviews. The staff greeted us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautifully appointed, and we made a special request for a bathtub, which added an extra touch of comfort to our stay since the room options can vary. The garden is plush and lovely. The hotel exudes a small, intimate atmosphere, and the enchanting pool provides a refreshing pause on those sweltering Kisumu days. Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood, yet conveniently close to local attractions, the location is perfect for exploring the area. For me, this place felt like a true home away from home. Second time staying at this peacful, safe and quiet hotel in a lovely location just on the edge of town. We stayed 4 nights and came back for 2 more later in our stay. Unfortunately the first room allocated (lake view) the water did not heat on the first day, after some attention by the maintenance staff it did warm (slightly) but again next day it was cold. Immediately owning the issue the staff reallocated another room and dealt with the transfer without any fuss. The already friendly staff went out of the way to enquire every day after that if everything was ok The whole team from the security on the gate to the front office, bar, dining staff to maintenance were all very cheerful, ever smiling and friendly and genuinely interested in our stay and made it all the more pleasant despite the water issue. The maintenance guy especially took time put to explain they had now changed out the defective boiler! At another location I was introduced to Brian the manager who again was genuinely interested in the issues and always took time to check that all was well for the rest of the stay. He honestly admiited that there was a few issues of backlog maintenance since taking charge a year ago but he and his team are working hard to address them and I can only wish him and his team all the best to make this a excellant venue, they are certainly trying their best

Wonderful hotel. Very large rooms and spotlessly clean. Every staff member was extremely friendly and efficient. Good bar and the food we had was very good. Walking distance to Hippo point and the Eco lodge. Quiet area so we slept very well. It’s my second time there

Ok but would not stay again
Probably would not stay again if I had a choice. Room door had a class panel on top which let light in at night and couldn't be changed. Plus you could hear noise from hallway. Bathroom shower area had some mold, etc. and needed a refresh. Restaurant was alright. Food took a long time to get. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the property for one week. The rooms were spacious but dated. Some fixtures need to be replaced (stained carpets, mosquito netting, shower curtains). Appeared to be mold on bathroom ceiling, and dead insect in bathroom on check-in. However, staff extremely friendly and restaurant was very good, although expensive by local standards. Wifi was sometimes inconsistent. Overall, I rate stay as average.
