Great resort with lots of amenities. 2 pools, playground, basketball court, tennis court, fitness room, business center, game room, general store with cook to order food, movie room, golf simulator and staff activities for guests. Staff at the activity building were great. Very hospitable and friendly. Our family really enjoyed the scavenger hunt. The room was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for an extended stay. Washer, dryer, full kitchen and small appliances. Lots of parking and the property is gated. We had a great stay. Note

Apartamento espaçoso, quartos confortáveis, utensílios novos, chuveiro e banheiro muito bons Localização perfeita e a estrutura do resort apesar de não termos aproveitado muito, era muito boa. O que ficou a desejar foi o serviço de limpeza do dia-a-dia no apartamento que não era disponibilizado, como ficamos 18 dias isso fez muita falta.

When I drive 1.25 hours, I need to enter a welcoming resort staff who enjoy their job and see customers as valued humans. I was told to sit in the lobby and would receive a text when my room was ready. To my surprise, 90 minutes later, I was still sitting in the lobby. To my surprise, I was given the worst room, which overlooked the garbage dumping area. I could not bear to stay the entire time and checked out early. To my surprise, the checkout was a hassle. The clerk refused to give me a copy of my receipt. He relented when I said it is federal and state law that customers are entitled to a receipt for paid services. The last thing that RCI never mentioned in planning for this site was the fact that you are charged $10.00 a day for the towels and cleaning of the room. Travelers, beware, and check out the real charges. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO ANY NEIGHBOR.

Very disappointed with my accommodations. Lack of maintenance response per clogged toilet at check in. Dirty space overall. Lack of washer/dryer in unit. No call back from front desk even after 3 separate calls over 24 hours! No discount per early check out after allowing plenty of time for communication and discount not applied.

mediocre lodgings and lacked in kitchen for a normal stay. Sofa slants inward and hard to sit on long. toilets are soooo low and complex needs some love. good location

Terrible art, and the bar is low. My unit feels quite dated. The sofa beds have four inch mattresses and my daughter’s shoulder was injured trying to sleep on it. Great location and nice pools.

Ok resort but better in area. Older than expected. We have stayed in nicer resorts that offer more in area. Room was fine for short trip. Close to Disney. Expected more from pictures. Staff was nice except at pool bar. Would definitely stay elsewhere in future.

Let’s start with the basics: This place is completely outdated, filthy, and honestly feels like a scam wrapped up in “resort” branding. Black footprints in the tub, carpets so dirty they’ll make your feet itch, walls covered in stains and scratches… and yet they had the nerve to charge over $400 for two nights. The price might’ve been the rudest part of the whole stay. First red flag? Check-in at 11 PM, where a woman was literally yelling at the concierge because she’d been waiting over two hours for basic blankets and pillows. Real inspiring welcome. Also, Silver Lake Resort really thinks they’re running some kind of prison camp because they charge you $20 for every room key you lose. And towels for the pool? Not complimentary. You have to physically hand over your room key just to borrow one. Is this a hotel or county lock-up? Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. This place is a joke.

I've been coming to Silver Lake for many years. In the last couple of years I've noticed that things aren't what they used to be - the units could do with updating as many others have said. Having said that, the reason we keep coming back is that we always have a great time. The location is excellent, the units are well equipped and spacious. I did notice this year that there does seem to have been some work done on the outside areas which were looking good. The oldest furniture I remember from previously does seem to have been updated a little and we love the well equipped kitchen. (We were in a 1BR unit). Am I being too optimistic to think that Capital Vacations are finally noticing people's disappointment from when this was an RCI Gold Crown resort and doing something about it? Who knows!
