Park Royal Orlando

Beautiful room! Very comfortable. Nice area. But far from parks. Well worth the extra $. Only complaint was the ice machine was broken. Told them toilet needed repair after the stay but I’m sure they would have switched our rooms if we mentioned before. Will stay with them again😀😀p

The remodeled hotel is nice and the staff is super friendly. We'd visit again soon and stay in the same type of room.

We had originally called this place to set up two reservations, an ADA room and a regular room for the 23rd through the 26th. We had originally set these reservations on July 15th. The first reservation was for the ADA room, and I was told that we had until July 20th to change or cancel that ADA reservation. But then the guy told me his computer had locked up, and he would have to call me back. I never did get that call. He did try, but the phone signal was weak, so it went right to voicemail. So I had to call them back. This time, I spoke with a different person. I explained what happened about the computer lockup, and said I needed to set a reservation for the regular room still. That was done, and I assumed that the cancellation policy was the same as the first room, and I was not told differently. Just a few minutes later, my wife had called me about a possible date change on a funeral we were attending. So I called the registration office back and proceeded to try and change the dates on the rooms. The woman who answered said I could not change the dates, so irritated, I told her to just cancel the reservations. They did agree to cancel the ADA room, but refused to cancel the regular room. That was 15 minutes later on the 15th, after making the reservations in the first place. I tried to call the motel directly, but none of the advertised phone numbers would ring through. Well, we did end up getting back to Orlando on the 23rd, and did stop in, but they did not have any ADA rooms available. We went down the road to another motel and booked both rooms with no problem. We stayed in this motel last March, and it was ok, although they did charge an additional fee of $25.00 to plunge a toilet that had no toilet paper in it. Motel fixtures, what can I say? I have disputed this charge on my credit card for their deceptive practices . We will never set reservations or stay here again. Why don't you save yourself the brain damage and stay somewhere else, like we did.
