Youphoria Sea View Villas

First stay here, but most certainly not the last! We stayed at Youphoria Villas in June/July for 13 nights. We were given a lovely, warm welcome from Vassilis and Dimitris with lots of useful information. During our stay, any questions we had were addressed promptly. We had an issue with the oven on Saturday which Vassilis investigated immediately, and by Monday a new oven had been delivered and installed! With prior communication, Dimitris popped up one afternoon with beautiful, bruschetta type treats for us which were delicious! The resort itself is quiet, safe (2 female travellers) and close to Kissamos (13 euro taxi) and surrounding areas. Nicos (taxi) was reachable and readily available any time, any day. Villa Symphony was very well equipped, comfortable, cool, spacious and importantly for us, private. Cleaning/towel change was done every few days by lovely, friendly and respectful staff. The pool was cleaned daily. There is sun from morning until night, with the pergola and seating area offering respite from this. The view from every room of the villa is really something else. Sunset is a glorious sight, but sunrise really is the one you'll want to get up for. Our return flight was late evening, and although check out is 10.30, we were kindly given the villa until 12 and even very generously offered an alternative villa to relax in until the evening should we have wished to stay longer! Every thing has been thought of from the location to the facilities including the BBQ the swimming pool the immaculate interior also the cleaners who were charming and discreet. Next was the local fish taverna which was superb. And finally vassilis and his team made us feel very welcome thank you. Also big thanks to Simpson travel who where always there if we needed them

We stayed in Villa Ammos for 10 days on a beautiful beach location. The villa was immaculately luxurious with plenty of space for the 4 of us. We enjoyed a mix of bbq’s at home whilst admiring the beautiful views across the bay, eating next door at the fish taverna and exploring other tavernas in the hills. The Youphoria and Simpsons teams who supported our stay were super-friendly and able to help us navigate a fun packed time in Crete. This is a very special Villa and we will definitely be back!!

We arrived after many hours of travel to a very warm welcome to Crete from Vassilis. Youphoria villas are located near Kissamos a lovely town in Western Crete about 40 minutes west of Chania. The location was perfect for us and the view of the ocean and olive groves was spectacular. We stayed in Charisma Villa with a pool, which we paid extra to have heated as it was early May. Very comfortable accommodation and we swam every day. We used the Villa as a base to explore western Crete and all of Vassilis’s recommendations were excellent, including local restaurants and Strata tours, a local tour company who provided transportation to and from the fabulous Samaria Gorge hike on opening day. We also visited Balos Beach, highly recommend, early one morning and Strata Tours provided the transportation due to the poor road conditions to get the beach. There is a 30 minute hike to the beach from the drop off point. Highly recommend making the trek as spectacular scenery. Go early in the day (arrive before 9 am) to avoid the crowds. We stayed for 5 nights and could easily have stayed longer as so much to see and do in this part of Crete, including relaxing and slowing down.
