Days Inn by Wyndham Kirksville

It may have been a decent hotel in its “heyday” but now, if I had to do it over; I would have paid a little more to stay elsewhere.

VERY disappointing! Motel is quiet until the construction workers come in the late afternoon and take over the place with their noise and LOUD Spanish music. I was there for two nights and on the second night, a group of workers were outside eating pizza, drinking beer and listening to music in the parking lot until 11:15 PM on a work night. Could not get to sleep. I complained in the morning but the worker at the front desk did not seem to care at all and walked away. Place is not maintained well on the exterior and my room was ok but had tv problems and I had to get help for that. I was told in nearby La Plata that this place also houses some homeless. Breakfast in the morning was only fair since all the construction workers had already had breakfast and did not leave much left for the few guests there like me. Find somewhere else MUCH better to stay at!

It was just fine

We stayed for our daughters 2025 Special Olympics State games and overall the hotel for being operational for alittle over a year, was accommodating and the front desk was responsive and courteous. Need for improvement: It would have been nicer if the jaccuzzi was working and there was more than one cue ball to play a few games. Thank you!

The motel was very nice in it's day. It appears that since it's latest ownership change maintenance and guest services have been relaxed. The shower rod in the bathroom had been replaced but the holes in the walls from the previous rod were not filled and painted. The beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had. Luke warm coffee, juice machine not working and the breakfast items did not look appetizing or fresh and were far away from the drink counter. The hotel had a curry smell throughout. That said it was a fair deal for the money just not the quality establishment that the pictures seem to portray.
