Bought this 2 night stay for my son and his girlfriend. They were thrilled with the location and the comfortable room. They enjoyed the breakfast eventhough they said items were not replenished in the last 15 minutes of breakfast service.
They used the pool and were very happy with their experience.

The hotel's surroundings are nice, but the hotel's services are average. The front desk service is OK, but some staff, such as the tall male service staff at the bar, make people feel very uncomfortable and are directly prejudiced against Chinese people. These subtle feelings will greatly affect your mood when staying in the hotel, so service is much more important than the environment. In short, I don't recommend staying here. The hotel was expanded on the basis of the old castle. Next to it is a golf course. The environment is unbeatable. The hotel service is terrible. From the hotel lobby to the guest room, you have to go through several corridors and change elevators. The hotel front desk did not provide any instructions. The locals also said they were confused. It is far from the city of Edinburgh and is only suitable for self-driving! Not recommended!

Absolutely loved it here and would definitely come back and visit if the price was right. Pool was lovely and warm, breakfast was great and the gym was even better

Breakfast experience was horrible.. waiting over 20 minutes for cold fried eggs
Also the ambience of was like sitting in a conference room.
