The staff were very kind and polite, and although we were asked to change rooms at short notice, there was a cancellation and they also accommodated us.

The view from the room was awful.
I wish they had explained the room rank in more detail when I made the reservation.
I may have been able to make a reservation at a cheaper price, but when I got into the room, I was disappointed with the view from the window and I didn't feel like taking a bath in the room.

Kirishima Onsenkyo has an abundant amount of hot spring water and the spring quality is a natural hot spring with a moderate amount of sulfur. I especially liked the private mini open-air bath and the retro feel of the rooms. I would like to stay here again. There are a lot of children at the breakfast buffet, which makes it uncomfortable.
