We were guests of Patricia and her team at the Kirinda Beach Resort at the beginning of March 2024. We were lovingly looked after and cooked for. The table was even carried directly to the beach for us, which increased the romantic potential of our stay even further! The beach is directly adjacent to the resort, it is beautiful, the water of the Indian Ocean is pleasantly warm. The beach huts are fully equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets, when you fall asleep you are rocked to sleep by the sound of the waves! The bathroom is simply designed, but the price-performance ratio is exactly right here and we didn't miss anything in the facilities. The resort also has a great infinity pool with a direct view of the ocean and the beach. Patricia is happy to help organize leisure activities. The famous Yala National Park is nearby and safaris can be organized and started directly from the resort.

Looking for a genuine beach front hide-away on Sri Lanka's stunning east coast. Kirinda Beach Resort hosted by Patricia Parkin is the place to go. Comfortable and roomy cabins with ensuite bathroom facilities, great meals from a comprehensive menu and fabulous breakfast. Within easy reach of Yala National Park for stunning Safari Tours, with door to door pick-up and return. Patricia and her great staff team made sure we had a breakfast pack to go for our early morning start. If the beach isn't your choice there is an elevated swimming pool with the most amazing view out over The Indian Ocean. Our schedule only allowed for 2 nights at Kirinda, however we could have easily chilled out for a few days. Simply delightful, obliging people offering a great opportunity to get away from the crowds and busy resorts. Thanks Patricia we really enjoyed Kirinda. John & Brian - Redland Bay, Qld. Australia.

A hidden gem! Amazing location with breathtaking scenery, comfortable and clean cabanas, and extremely yummy food. If you like a rustic experience off the beaten path this is the place for you! The Yala national park is very close by and they will organise a tour in a comfortable jeep for a surprisingly low price as well. Can’t recommend it enough!

Small wooden bungalows in a really quiet location with very good beds and air conditioning, great restaurant with the best food that is worth every cent, beautiful unspoiled coastline, cozy pool at a lofty height, perfect! The manager has her team and the small resort perfectly under control! Price/performance ratio OK!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time (3 days) at the resort and Patricia and her staff really looked after us well. The beach was absolute heaven and breakfast/dinner sitting under the trees on the beach and under the stars was the highlight of our whole trip to Sri Lanka. We packed in a lot and Patricia was instrumental in organising most of this, Scuba Diving, Yala safari and Katagarama as well as a massage onsite, a choice of western or Sri Lankan cuisine, and an experience in local cookery, really added to our experience. I also loved the raised pool looking out over the Ocean with eagles soring and monkeys as spectators. After a while sand seems to get everywhere and we were frequently sweeping this out of the room, and the resort was clean but does really need a deep clean and refurbishment - but look beyond this because the experience was just superb. Patricia has really good ethics in sustainability and focuses on her staff welfare. A little gem not to be missed.

Patricia, the content of the place offers you a warm welcome... She organizes the arrival, helped us to book for the safari in Yala (by the way, which is really worth it), offered to help us with managed our future reservation, advised us for our meals. No complaints. The bungalows are nice atypical accommodations, the swimming pool is pleasant and the adjoining private beach is charming and very quiet. Thanks to the whole team !
