Very comfortable and relaxing environment 👍 During this business trip, I used this environment to relieve stress. It is very close to visiting clients and the traffic signs are clear. It is worth staying here again.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von acht Personen da. Fünf Reiter, drei Radfahrer. Ich war zum zweiten Mal da, damals mit meinem Pferd. Die Reitmöglichkeiten dort sind fantastisch. Die Bodenverhältnisse sind gut. Es wird alles geboten, Wald, Felder, Wiesen, Heidelandschaft. Der Stall und die dazugehörigen Wiesen und Weiden sind eine Klasse für sich. Direkt an dem Hotel ist auch ein kleiner Vielseitigkeitspark. Sehr empfehlenswert. Radfahrer kommen in der Umgebung auch sehr auf ihre Kosten. Unter uns war ein Rennradfahrer, ein City Biker und ich mit meinem Mountainbike. Für mich boten sich Fahrten in die umliegende Moorlandschaft an. Ferner kann man auch vom Hotel aus problemlos bis zur Weser fahren. Alles sehr schön. Wir wohnten in zwei Wohnungen. Die sind sehr gepflegt. Die Reinigung ist klasse. Die Versorgung im Hotel ist überdurchschnittlich. Das Frühstück hat mich hinsichtlich der Vielfalt nicht voll überzeugt. Es war aber gut. Das Angebot am Abend ist umfangreich und von sehr hoher Qualität. Hervorzuheben ist noch, dass das Personal außerordentlich freundlich ist. Die Chefin ist der gute Geist des Hauses und kümmert sich mit sympathischer Ausstrahlung engagiert um ihre Gäste. Vielen Dank.

Sehr malerische Anlage. Das ist es aber auch schon. Ich wurde bezüglich einer Anfrage für eine kleine Feier mit 20 Personen herbe enttäuscht. Erster Kontakt wg. Termin ca. 1 Jahr vorher. Scheinbar alles OK. Im Lauf der nächsten Monate mehrfacher E-Mail-Kontakt wg. Details. Persönlicher Kontakt Anfang August 2024. Besprechung der Menudetails. Bitte um Angebot geäußert. Nach knapp 3 Wochen keine Reaktion. Telefonische Nachfrage. Angebot war noch nicht erstellt. Erneute Bitte um Angebot mit Fristsetzung 14 Tage. Wieder keine Reaktion. Gestern Stornierung der Anfrage. Reaktion mit Bestätigung Stornierung innerhalb von Stunden. Es drängte sich der Eindruck auf, der Betrieb war nicht mehr an der Ausrichtung der Feier interessiert. Das wurde aber nie so kommuniziert. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass kein Pauschalangebot für Brunchbuffet inklusive Softdrinks möglich sein sollte (???). Für mich war Kundenorientierung nicht erkennbar.

Das Smoker-Büfett am vergangenen Wochenende im Rahmen einer Geburtstagsfeier mit ca. 50 Gästen war hervorragend und alle Gäste waren restlos begeistert über die herausragende Qualität der Speisen und dem geschmackvoll dekorierten Räumen in der "Hopfenecke". Wir kommen gerne wieder und können einen Besuch auch im Rahmen von größeren Veranstaltungen nur empfehlen. Der Service war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und äußerst aufmerksam. Der weite Blick aus der "Hopfenecke" in die grüne Pferdekoppel tat dem Auge gut.

They still exist, the gastronomic insider tips: On the recommendation of a pedestrian, I "accidentally" ended up in this hotel during a long car journey: outstanding food selection in the restaurant, personal approach by the owner, spacious hotel complex with the best comfort, attractive, clean rooms - simply "tip-top"!!!!!

We came with our extended family for a long cycling weekend and found very nice rooms in different parts of the hotel. Rooms for couples and rooms for families, all very tastefully furnished. We "missed" a small hotel safe in the room, but that wasn't a big deal. The restaurant was also very appealing and the kitchen was very good. For breakfast there was a "mobile" buffet, i.e. the service ladies came to the table from time to time with a variety of things like quark, yoghurts, muesli, fruit, fruit and other salads and you got what you wanted. After dinner we would have liked to sit comfortably together, but unfortunately there is no lounge or bar area, perhaps with the option of watching major sporting events together, so it loses one point. Instead there is a smoking area inside - and outside for a quick cigarette in between - which seems a bit out of date. In summer you can sit very nicely on the large terrace, with coffee and cake or while grilling. If you bring your own bikes, there is a bike garage with sockets for charging e-bikes. For the children, there is a nice playground and a mini golf course for the whole family. The highlight for many guests, however, is the opportunity to bring their horses! We too have been looking for a comfortable hotel for a long time where you can spend a really nice horse riding holiday and found this opportunity here. Very beautiful grounds around the hotel, plus a great riding arena with VS obstacles for training, a large show jumping and dressage arena and endless pastures. The stables are state-of-the-art and mostly have paddocks; there is also an open stable. Next time we will go there with our horses, which is about a 3.5 hour drive from the Ruhr area and therefore much closer than the Lüneburg Heath, but with comparable options. All in all, a very nice hotel that we can highly recommend.
