This is our local pub and we love it! We have always been made to feel so welcome by the owner Claire. It is child friendly too which is great as we have a 6 month old! It was our first time trying food tonight since the new chef started and we were not disappointed- the food was great! We had the haggis Bon Bons to start and they were delicious and plentiful! We also had the beef and Guineas pie and cornflake chicken and both were amazing! Highly recommend this place and glad it’s our local!!

Very nice. Relaxing, and very good food. Would definitely come again. Helpful staff. Clean and tidy facilities. Good atmosphere. Been here many times over the years and they do not disapoint. The speed of service and the of quality of the experience was overall excellent.

Went there with a few friends for drinks, the staff were amazing. Allan was brilliant and looked after us. It’s a small town, but plenty to do, train links and the 37 bus takes you straight from Aberdeen. Thank you for a great day, we will definitely be back.

Amazing service food hot incredibly quick service. Food was well presented and very good value for money. Generous portions. Staff attentive and pleasant. A good selection on the menu and a beer garden on a summers night. Restaurant nicely decorated. I’ll definitely be back.

Came up to visit a friend with my son. First time staying at hotel but definitely not the last. Right from our arrival on Friday night we received a warm and friendly welcome. Rooms were spotless. We ate at hotel both nights and also had breakfast both mornings, food was excellent and combined with the brilliant staff it made for a great experience. Well done to all and have a Merry Christmas 10/10 👏👏

Had a lovely overnight stay in this well cared for modernised local family run hotel. We were not disappointed at all the staff were all very pleasant and attentive. We had a great evening meal on our arrival and breakfast next morning. Our room was spotlessly clean and a good size with hanging space and well fitted En suite. One small minus would be toilet paper could be of better quality.

If you are in this area please check out this friendly family run hotel. We booked for dinner bed and breakfast … excellent! Good choices on the dinner menu also good choices for breakfast. Our room was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The staff were polite and friendly, we could not have asked for better!
