Stayed 3 nights here and the room was excellent. Comfy bed and just simply great overall. Had numerous recommendations for food and walking. Would highly recommend. The guest house does not have a lift but only 2 flights of stairs to navigate. Right in the heart of town.

Stylishly decorated and furnished. Dozens of giant black-and-white photographic prints on the stairs, landings, and in the bedrooms make it feel like you are staying in an art gallery. The photos are stunning whether portraits, wildlife, or scenery; they create a cool and stylish mood throughout the accommodation. Super-comfy bed, all the necessary facilities, immaculate shower room. Owners were very helpful and responded to queries promptly. Very handy location for Kinsale town centre's great choice of pubs, restaurants, gift shops, cafes and bookshops. Harbour, tourist information office and convenience store all within 5 mins walk. Parking just across the road. Highly recommended for visitors to Kinsale.

Stylish, comfortable, well equipped, centrally located, and very good value. Would enthuse about returning in a heartbeat. Compares very favourably with the best in any part of Europe. All of this in a beautifully elegant Georgian terrace townhouse - look for the windows lighting the half-landings, or the check the delightful feel of the handrail on the stairs. Very, very well restored - sympathetic with the old, but with every modern comfort. Will be back!

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are beautiful with nice touches to make it a very comfortable stay. It is centrally located in this quaint city. The owners are warm and friendly and excited for you to enjoy their lovely home. They have put together a number of suggested walks around the city to enjoy the scenery, take pictures and learn about the history. We had a wonderful time on the walks and eating in the restaurants they recommended. Highly recommend this lovely hotel!

Really lovely room, in a great location, right in the center of things. Lots of space in the room too, which was nice. No breakfast included, but plenty of options for coffee and food along the street. Parking was fine before and after all the day trippers were there.

Second time staying here in 2 years and again the rooms were immaculate, bathrooms are big with waterfall showers and everything else you could really want. We got to check in early and the location is great with free parking (if available) right across the road. Couldn't hear a thing throughout the night and the beds are very comfortable. Will definitely be back

Perfect stay in beautiful accommodation. Central to Kinsale with parking close by. Beautiful views and easy walk to restaurants and bars. No breakfast available however lots of breakfast options available in nearby cafes. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return for a longer stay.

I was excited to hear Giles Norman had a Townhouse. My partner’s first time in Kinsale so I wanted to make sure it was very special. Giles Norman gallery was right next door, the townhouse is really an extension of the gallery with beautiful photographs through the whole house. We were lucky to get a front room with a view of the water. The attention to detail in the room was fantastic, so comfortable. The bathroom was also luxurious including the shower with a rain shower head. Our 2 night stay was so peaceful & we will definitely be back. Thank you Giles & Catherine Norman!
