Hotels in Kinmen Airport, Kinmen

Unexpectedly good, perhaps my expectations weren't high to begin with. First off, the room was on the executive floor with a lake view, and the scenery was excellent, even better at night. I have photos to prove it, and I was very satisfied with this. There are also popular photo spots like the telephone booth nearby. The food street is within walking distance, and the Livestock Research Institute is great for a visit. Further afield, the Gaodong Tunnels are also fantastic! The executive lounge offered standard snacks and drinks, but their special cocktail was a fruity drink with a hint of alcohol, which was right up my alley. The breakfast included incredibly delicious braised pork rice. You could add as much braised pork as you liked, and it was even better than the braised pork rice I had at two popular Kinmen influencer restaurants over the past couple of days. The breakfast selection was also quite rich. The room itself was great in all aspects, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The only thing I wasn't used to was that they only provided one reusable bottle for water (I've traveled all over the world, and many hotels in Europe and America aren't this 'eco-friendly'), but it's a minor detail. The fridge also had complimentary drinks. So, all in all, it's a five-star review! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The location is decent, next to the General's Office, and conveniently located within Jincheng city. However, the soundproofing isn't great, the power outlets are too far from the bed for charging, the TV cable is too short (using an extension cord instead of a cable tray), and the cables are taped directly to the floor, obstructing the door's opening and closing. The air conditioner's drain pipe is connected to the separate wet and dry bathroom, and the pipes weren't properly secured, almost causing a trip.

We lived together for three days. The boss was very good. The hygiene was very clean. It was very warm. We sent us to the city. Thank you very much. The place is also very good. The boss is really good. The environment is great! ! Very concerned about our warmth at home

The location is only 4 kilometers away from the airport and can be reached by bus, which is very convenient. The surrounding environment is great, there is a small park from the window, and then the sea, the view is great. The accommodation is clean and simple, next time I go to Golden Gate, I will stay again.

Super strategic location with walking distance to most food places in Kinmen old town. There are limited parking lots next to the hotel (for car rentals), if you rent their cars which are more expensive, they have different lots for them. The hotel does not provide toothbrush so be prepared for that. Do check out the popular stir fry restaurant next to the hotel (and a temple), they have good range of seafood with reasonable prices

I have to say, Ah Bei was really hospitable. He treated us to Cantonese congee this morning and even drove us to the pier. There's a Carrefour and a Super Fresh supermarket right outside, super convenient. Next door are Jingcai steamed buns, Cosmed, croissants—all the good food is nearby. I bought a lot of beer to drink later, hehe.

A beautiful, historic homestay near the port with excellent service. High-quality bedding and comfortable beds. Walking in and hearing Celine Dion made it even more quaint 😂 Jack was super helpful with information about the ferry tickets, and even made an extra trip back to the port because I Ieft my umbrella behind. And his mom was very kind and welcoming too. A note to those who may be sensitive: there was a faint musty smell, which I’ve found common to many hotels and guest houses in humid climates like Taiwan. Earplugs are recommended for light sleepers, since you can hear courtyard and street noise in the room. Plan ahead for cash: nearby restaurants are cash-only, and the nearest atm is at 7-11, about a 20 minute walk away.

The place was alright. The toilets and showers are outside so you will have to go outside during the middle of the night to pee. The common room is very basic and small. The mattress is very thin it felt like I was laying on a yoga mat on the floor. Overall not great for the price that is being asked for the dorms. There was only me and 2 other guests during my stay which made the place very quiet and I had the room to myself.

The hotel is located in the old town area. There are a lot of eateries around. We loved the porridge store next door and the old town vibe. The front desk staff was very helpful. She helped us to arrange a taxi driver to drive us to a museum before sending us to the ferry terminal.

The hotel is excellent in every way. It offers free indoor parking, and is located near a snack bar and the Everrich shopping mall. There are two bars nearby for evening dining. During my stay, I received a free nighttime tour of Jinhu Lake. Although I didn't see any otters, the staff were friendly and helpful. While Jincheng is the preferred area for visiting Kinmen, if you prefer a quieter stay, Jinhu Lake is a great option. Of course, if you're traveling between Xiamen and Kinmen by ferry and not driving, it's a bit inconvenient because there's no transportation to Shuitou Pier, but there is transportation to the airport! The hotel room was spacious, with a bathtub in the bathroom, a sofa, and a dining table. It was clean and comfortable!
