Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston

When i got into the room it was a strange smell, there were mold in the room and bathroom, the bathroom curtain was about to fall down also the tub wasn't that clean. I current sleep much with second floor people walking all night, this was my first time staying in a super 8 hotel.

Room was decent clean, price was the cheapest in the area at the time of booking but still over $100. Breakfast were donuts in the big open tray and bagel with the tub of cream cheese, Box of apple or orange juice. Did not try coffee ( brought my own instant Starbuck coffee)

Was kind of okay for a budget hotel, but do not count on the "Included" breakfast. It was barely anything besides banana and muffin. It's not good for those who need accessibility. Location is however great - right in the middle of the town with plenty of places to eat around the hotel.

We have small dogs and we’re tyrned away by a hotel which advertised that they were pet friendly, but only allowed one per. This Suoer 8’s staff was super helpful. The room was clean, the bed and shower were wonderful. The furniture had a few chew marks on one piece of furniture, but our dogs were well behaved.

They have bed bugs BAD!! Look at your box springs even if the mattress looks clean!! They were in the box spring! Big ones! I stayed with my five month old and my boyfriend and i woke up at 4 am to feed my baby and one crawled out from under me. I killed it and looked up what they look like and sure enough. So skeeved out.

The hotel is a bit out dated. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond!! The breakfast was bagels and donuts with coffee and juice. It was quick and a refreshing breakfast. The hotel was all I needed for my trip. I was gone all day and back at night.

Terrible experience. I stayed in this hotel on 08/06/24 in Room 216. I ended up at the hotel at the last minute due to car issues. The room was substandard. The Air Conditioner rattled and banged and produced very little cold air so it was a hot sweaty night. When we arrived there was one towel in the room and no soap of any kind. I went to the front desk and asked for some and he handed me some hand towels and said “I am leaving soon and this is all I have” . I took them back to the room, when I looked at them it looked there were clean but very stained. I am guessing he gave me towels that we previously used for cleaning? I thought I would just shower in the morning and get new stuff then. The freezer in the refrigerator was one solid block of ice. I have seen that in my 1950’s era refrigerator in my garage but never in a hotel. We also found a pair of sunglasses and a toy next to the bed from a previous guest which made me wonder how they could have cleaned and not found those? When I checked in he told me that breakfast started at 7:00 AM. I went down at 7:00 to get some breakfast and towels and soap but the office was all locked up. There was a sign on the door that said “we are all out of rooms and due to a staffing shortage the office is closed for the evening and we will return at around 7:30”. I did not want to wait until 7:30 sot see when they might arrive so I walked over to the gas station, bought a bar of soap for $4 and went back and showered and used the stained hand towels. After I left the room I went to Hardys and got breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel and based on the service and amenities – its definitely not worth the $87 I paid for it. I won’t stay there again.
