I visited the area while in the process of relocating. My stay was excellent! The room was very clean and comfortable. The new courtyard was a perfect added bonus for relaxing in the evening. Loved the staff! I will be back again for my future visits!!

My son is in the Navy and we came from Wyoming to visit him and his family. It was wonderful staying at the Hawthorne. The staff is friendly, kind, and so helpful. They accommodated all of our needs. Breakfast was always satisfying, the pool is small, however it was clean and refreshing. We will definitely come again to stay when we are I. Kingsland.

The best place to stay! Room was very clean and pillows are so comfortable! Room was newly renovated and we loved the new look. The courtyard was awesome. The had grills, fire pits, putting greens and a big chess game. I loved sitting out there at night time.

Worse stay in a hotel I ever had!!I had to climb the dirty staircase. The elevator has been down since we checked in. Garbage nd trash on the floor in the hallways nd outside the breakfast was NASTY as heck the eggs tasted like they were in the fridge nd just sat out to eat. The hotel smell like mold nd feet wouldn't recommend this place for my dogs ng not to mention the staircase also smell like a ashtray

Very nice person checked us in. Very clean through-out. Beds were great. I slept like a baby. Had breakfast and left. I will be using this as a stopping place again.. I've said all I want to say. I don't need to use 200 characters. This review site is ridiculous

Hotel looked old, the room had a musky smell, shelf missing in shower leaving the damaged tile visible. Staff was nice, but hotel was more a 2 - 2 1/2 star. Just everything looked and felt old, like and older hotel was remodeled and the name changed.

I booked here over a month ago, I did on line check in however when we got there at 11pm there was no room for us, although it was confirmed and paid for. The hotel had a musty mold smell to it and was damp. The front desk staff was nice however I won’t be booking there again. We had to look for another place to stay at midnight and ended up costing an additional $100.00 then we had originally planned.

After looking at reviews and ratings for over an hour (traveling south on I 95), I decided to stay here. It looks as though they have been undergoing renovations for a long time. Some of the renovated “things” already look tired. The sheets and towels were dingy and yellow. I found crumbs, on the floor, between the beds. This place has only one way in and out of the building. The are no side doors which makes it cumbersome for those of us with pets.

Newly renovated large, comfortable, clean rooms. Bathroom is great with great lighting and a large mirror. Close to many restaurants, close to the highway, great breakfast in the morning. The highlight was the incredible courtyard outside, a pool, games, and lots of seating. Was great to sit back and relax after a long day of travel. Highly recommend
