Stayed for an overnight with two rounds of golf bed breakfast and evening meal deal with 15 mates. It was a very good experience. Pro shop were really helpful, starters excellent and welcoming the three courses in good condition considering the poor weather. The bar reasonably priced for food and drink with friendly staff Evening meal excellent Hotel accommodation clean ample size and providing an excellent breakfast. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

16 lady golfers spent 2 nights and 3 days at Sandford Springs and had a lovely time. Boutique hotel is spacious, clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast in the hotel. Only 3 minutes walk to the club house which has pleasant inside and outside spaces. Ben, Jayne and Jade, the clubhouse staff, were unfailingly friendly and helpful, taking an interest in our stay. The evening meals were the one aspect of our visit that could have been improved, but were more than adequate.

Good complex. However, the handwash basins in the ladies locker room is still out of action. There is note stating a spare part is required. This has been the case for many months. I am regular visitor to the club. There are separate ladies toilets which are nearby, but it is very inconvenient to have to use 2 different locations.

We booked this hotel due to central location for 3 of us to get together to strategise (no meeting room, screen required as no presenting nor formality). We booked through our work portal “TravelPerk” and therefore assumed it would be welcoming to all. We felt uncomfortable for the entire 3 days, some team were friendly but most were unaccommodating (borderline rude). The food was ok, salmon was nice but menu quite limited. Stunning location and rooms ok, beds not very comfortable, could hear something buzzing all night and a light flashing so not much sleep in the 3 days! Breakfast ok but nothing special. Would not return and the hotel should not advertise to non-golfers.

My wife uses an electric wheelchair so the first thing I will say the hotel and grounds are fully accessible. When you go into the golf club and resteraunt there are 2 wooden wedge ramps if you need them. They are under the couch left hand side if there is no staff around. Our room 23 was massive. No complaints at all. All meals are taken in the golf club resteraunts. Menu good. Meals all hot and delicious. Can be a bit noisy as it's full of golfers. Staff are brill. Efficient. Polite. They work there socks off but have time to chat. One trick is not to take breakfast deals as the club house does a great deal. 13 quid for a monster breakfast. 10 quid for a light breakfast. Morning rolls are also available. Golf courses are good and challenging. All areas are very clean and are kept spotless . Plenty of car parking. In summary we will be back. Can't thank the staff enough for there care and attention.

This hotel seems popular with those who are working in the area. There are good things and not so good things. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms are large and well furnished. There are comfortable chairs and the beds are excellent. The bathroom is a good size. My room needs some maintenance. There was some black mould in the shower. But plenty of hot water and toiletries are provided. And there is a pillow menu! And an iron and ironing board. Breakfast is good - buffet style. And there is a wide selection of juice, cereal, pastries and so on. There is no problem parking as there is a large car park. There is a bar and restaurant a short distance from the hotel. It is shared with the gold club members. Again, the staff are great. The food is ok, but nothing special. It is perfectly acceptable pub-grub fayre. Not fantastic but okay. I just think for a hotel that prides itself on high quality the food does not come up to standard. It is all stuff that is quick and easy to prepare. The bar and restaurant which is shared with the members of the golf club who are usually very well behaved. On other occasions they have been very loud and choice language is widespread.

Good hotel , friendly to forigniers, I was in the area to visit a friend and i had a lot of problem while here, one of the problems was the hotel i stayed on overbooked me and decided to cancel my booking , it was late and i called to try to get a room here at Sandford springs a guy named George answerd and helped me out he was really nice and he understood my sittuation , i don't usually leave reviews but after the experience i had with everything else they really deserve all stars , the room was so nice , for what i paid i tought it would be worse than the one i booked originally but it was so nice and fancy , unfortunatly the restaurant was closed but i managed to shoot some golf in the morning the guys there were really nice as well and pointed me to the driving range really cheep arround 4£ per like 30 balls , overall great experience , if i ever come back in the area will come back here for sure !!

Wedding event. Rude staff and unsatisfactory facilities! As best man to the wedding party (which spent thousands on their event), I hired a room so myself and the groom could get changed prior to the ceremony. I was told it would be available from 1pm, perfect as the ceremony was at 2pm. We arrived only to be told the room was not ready and would be available at 3pm, after the ceremony!! When I asked if there was somewhere we could change, I was rudely told “no”!! When I queried this, I was told we could change in the golfers changing rooms! Thankfully one of the wedding guests was in reception and allowed us to use her room. You can only imagine the stress and anxiety this caused the groom. To add insult to injury, when I wrote to complain, this has not even been acknowledged.

We are 4 experienced travelling golfers and have just spent a couple of splendid days at Sandford Springs. We are regular visitors here, but would say that this was our best visit yet. The staff were superb and extremely attentive. Our dinners were cooked beautifully, and we are highly experienced diners! Thank you and well done to the team there. Oh the golf courses were in extraordinarily good condition, considering the horrendous weather this winter.
