Pleasant welcome, comfortable room, no on-site parking, very good shower and a nice breakfast with good service: thanks, I'd certainly stay again, good value for money!

One night stay in single room . The service was excellent, staff were very helpful and friendly. The single room is small with no window just a skylight. Parking is in the street limited to 2hr between 8 and 4, but free overnight. Breakfast starts at 0830, but they offered a sandwich if needed before times. Dinner was reasonable. Nicely presented

First time staying here and it will not be my last.
A real cosy, warm and friendly pub, with amazing staff, nice room, everything you could need, great food.
They couldnt do enough for us.
Will definitely use this place again.

I have to thank all the staff for Monday night, unfortunately we didn’t know that they didn’t serve food on a Monday nights but they came up trumps not only doing a quick menu but cooking us food, this was way one of the best service I have had and I would like to thank them, not only y for the food but the plaster for my cut on my hand first rate serve and the food was good as well. Again we cannot thank you enough for the service and for making us feel welcome

Nice atmosphere,friendly staff. Good selection of ales and food very good quality. Only criticism was that our table was more in the drinking area than the restaurant so had noisy drinkers around us and my friends steak was rather tough but the waitress reduced price by £15 which was ok. Would go back.
