Kings Langley

Checked in for two nights and went to our room. The temperature gauge read as 24°. I understand completely now that there is no air conditioning at this hotel but that being said, the fan provided by Premier Inn was not enough to cool the room down and was just blowing hot air around. We thought still in April, it wouldn’t be as hot as it was. The room was not cleaned that well either and the attention to detail was lacking. In our disgust, we knew this as we found a few items and a dirty mug from the previous guests!! Unfortunately, we had the worst night sleep ever at this premises due to the heat that we decided to check out and spend more money to go to another local hotel. The Reception Team member was really helpful and helped in reimbursing the second night for us (thank you to him - no name badge but he looked to be within management). The main reason for my review is the lack of professionalism shown from two members of the Housekeeper Team stood in Reception whilst overhearing my complaint. One jokingly said “oh no, no air conditioning, no bar!”, maybe spend your time being more thorough within the hotel rooms, rather than listening in to things that do not concern you. After the refund was actioned, we headed to the car park, got in the car and had our windows down, we were a few spaces down from the entrance to the hotel. All we could hear was the housekeepers in question and said “manager” discussing this complaint, which can I add is fine but one housekeeper was that loud mouthed that we heard everything that was said and felt like they were being judgemental when they probably have never slept there to know!! Also smoking out the front whilst in uniform looks to be unprofessional. Make sure to take these things into consideration when booking this establishment.

Clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows. .Friendly staff, always available if needed without being intrusive. In a good location. Lovely little village with some great bars. Very good reasonably priced breakfast to set you up for the day

We stayed here whilst visiting the Harry Potter studios which is just a 10-15 minute drive away. The hotel was pretty quiet and we got a great nights sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful on our visit. We used the restaurant for breakfast in the morning. Good selection of food and everything was cooked really well. There is a miller and carter steak house next door (not affiliated with the premier inn) if you don’t want to travel far for food but fancy something different. Would stay here again.

Excellent service from Premier Inn Kings Langley. Good parking and a great friendly welcome by the check-in staff, rooms as usual very good and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was again a very welcoming experience from the staff, the food was excellent everything was freshly cooked and available no waiting, all in a cosy breakfast room.

By far the best Premier Inn we have stayed in. The location is perfect for exploring he local area and London. The fact there us no parking charge a real bonus. Great value for money. The staff are delightful and very helpful. Clean and tidy rooms with all you need for a short stay. Breakfast was in an abundance and excellent value for money. Very cheerful chef and staff. A minutes walk from the local village with a wide range of amenities. A short taxi ride to Watford Station allows for a quick journey to Euston to explore London. We were heading to Wembley and by train the location and convenience could not have been better. An excellent location for Harry Potter World. Will definitely be returning for another visit soon and thank you to the team.

Stayed here many times alone and with family. What was once pleasant is now tired and grimy having not been refreshed in 10 years or so. On latest visit loud music from somewhere nearby meaning an early night out of the question. I feel sorry for those with an early Harry Potter start.
