Rodd Brudenell River Resort

Had a wonderful stay at Brudenell. We golfed all 3 courses and all were in beautiful condition. The resort itself was wonderful and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The area around the resort is stunning and was a great home base to see the other areas of the island as well.

The resort staff was lovely. The club house staff was terribly rude. Screwed up our orders and made us feel bad for bringing it up. We had two meals here, each time, the restaurant was quiet and the food took forever. The burgers were burnt black. The adult burger patty was the same size as the child menu burger. The waitress did give us a discount on the burnt burgers. She noticed them being burnt as well.

I always love my stay at Rodd Brudenell River Resort. This was my 6th or 7th stay and it continues to deliver. As a golfer there can't be a more convenient spot to stay. While I love Dundarave GC, both 18s are excellent. Steps off the main entrance you can be working on your putting or hit the Driving Range. Golf rates are excellent (almost a 'steal') when compared to other high end resort courses. Whether traveling solo or with family Brudenell offers something for everyone. Two pools (one indoor/one outdoor); hot tub; restaurant options on site; the river for paddling; a campsite if that's your fancy; and all in a location that opens up the entire Eastern end of Prince Edward Island. We zip up to Red Point and Basin Head for fun on the beach; or 20 minutes the other direction you can be on Panmure Island and have their exceptional beach almost to yourself. Golfers never have to leave the property!!! What more could you ask for on a golf trip??? Many people will talk about Crowbush or other PEI courses but for my money (and the 20+ trips I've taken to the Island over the past 35 years) Brudenell is hands down the best total package for PEI golf getaways. Old school Brudenell or 'new' Dundarave golfers get a choice between two excellent courses. Après Golf you can chill on site or search out great PEI seafood in nearby Cardigan (5 min) or Montague (10 min). All in all you can't go wrong at Brudenell.

Really Nice, and big bedroom. Personal very responsive and welcoming. I Asked for a room on the first floor and Main building, cause I had a bycycle to get in and out of the room a lot. Adn they change my room location right at the check in.
