Great location. Good value. Nice make up area

We read the reviews and decided to stay here. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable. It was a clean place to rest after a day of traveling. The shower/bathroom is small and clean. It had a full-sizes tub and the shower head to worked great and tub drained well. I thought it might have a lot of street noise, but we didn’t hear it after 10 pm. This hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and a local brewery. The hotel was sold out and the parking lot was full this morning. Also, there is plenty of parking. We’d stay here again.

The Rambling Rose is on Route 66 in Kingman, AZ. It has the feel of a classic family-run Route 66 Motel. We booked it over the phone and got a room for $60. The check in was very efficient. It is a two-story hotel so specify floor if you have a preference. There is plenty of off-street free parking with room for larger vehicles. We had a room with a comfortable queen size bed (but only 2 pillows). The room included a table with 2 chairs, coffeemaker, microwave, and mini fridge with freezer section. There is a free easily accessible reliable ice machine outside. It had a small bathroom all contained with shower stall only. There was a big walk-in closet and a large bureau with multiple drawers. There was free reliable internet service. There was some street noise and train noise, but both died down at night. It was fairly quiet overall. It is right on Route 66 and walkable to a number of local sites including the popular Mr. D's Diner. It is a short drive to other restaurants and conveniences. Kingman is a great launching point for visitors heading to the Grand Canyon West.

Basic motel with the basics. Very clean and remodeled bathroom/shower, very comfy bed, great tv, good location, personable owners, drive up to the door, clean parking lot, nice towels & coffee in the room. Would recommend (and the price was perfect as well).

Dated but very clean inexpensive place to just sleep on the way . No huge extra resort fees like chain hotels . One price . Reasonable and clean and maintained well by a very nice caring couple and their son. If you want simple comfortable and inexpensive but a little dated this would work

I know the earlier reviews about this motel were less than stellar but the room I stayed in last night was great. Neat, clean, lots of power outlets, everything worked well. And the room rate was very fair. Maybe the other people staying there didn't get lucky but I've already made another reservation

Old motel with some piecemeal updates so don’t expect consistency. Owner “Kim” was helpful in recommending things to do in her town which we appreciated. The bed was comfortable for a short stay. Room had a pleasant scent. Our room was lacking a smoke detector and the 2nd floor railing looks like it’s detaching from the wall. This could be a cuter place with some design updates to bring it up to 4 or 5 stars. Dirt Filled-in pool and peach/turquoise paint color are an eyesore.

So happy that we decided to stop in Kingman! The Rambling Rose was really accommodating, the lady behind the desk was polite and friendly. The room was clean and I would stay there again. Not far from some cool bars and food joints in Kingman. Felt safe there and slept well.
