We stayed 1 night on the 9th march 2024. Carol met us at the door and was lovely. She upgraded us to the bedroom with en-suite as she had a group leaving very early the next day. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable king bed and an amazing bathroom with a Victorian roll top bath and shower. The room and ensuite were immaculate . I would absolutely stay her again, but for a longer period. Thank you Carol for everything!

My wife and I stayed here overnight whilst visiting family nearby. We arrived late on in the evening it is way out in the countryside but on getting closer you come across signs for the b and b. We were given the gate code earlier on a phone call, as when we were going to arrive the electric gate would be locked, on parking the car you are required to go around the building to reception, it was pitch black and no light in the car park until you round the corner. We were greeted and shown to our room, which was lovely, we had an adjacent bathroom, which in our opinion was a little dated and could do with a redecoration. After a pleasant night's sleep in lovely bedding we went to breakfast which was included in the price, the food was lovely and more than enough. The host were great very chatty and welcoming, we would recommend this place to others and we will stay again in the future.

Had a couple nights here whilst working in the area. Very comfortable stay and carol the host was great. Nothing to walk to local for food or drink so a 5or6 minute drive is needed. Lovely pub down the road called the green man with stunning views from the terrace/garden. Definitely would stay again and if you’re looking to book a place before jetting off from Luton , Look no further (4km) away and I believe Carol can arrange parking for £5 a day while your away. Thank you carol for a pleasant stay

This B&B is in a splendid and rural location. Our hosts were warm and friendly. Please remember though this is a Bed & Breakfast, not a hotel. Our room was warm and clean. We had booked a private, separate bathroom which was more than adequate. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and tasty. Set in gorgeous countryside, there is plenty of wildlife to see in the local area (red tailed kites, owls, foxes, squirrels, pheasant, buzzards etcetera) This is just the sort of place we look for when we need to be close to an event. We would love to come back someday.

Such a beautiful stay at the Lodge Farm House. Me and my partner stayed for two nights to attend a wedding near by, the rooms were comfy and clean and the bathroom was lovely! We were welcomed by Carol and Bob who were so friendly and accommodating, they even gave us a lift to the wedding when we didn’t have one! They really went above and beyond to make our stay peaceful, stress free and lovely. Idyllic and romantic weekend get away with stunning grounds and a fab breakfast! Couldn’t recommend more, overall a lovely b&b.

We got married here. It is an amazing venue, simply stunning and a beautiful B&B. However, the “wedding planner” that you have to have, gives false information on everything from prices to what you can have, the website she no doubt controls says you can have everything you dream, yet that is not true; there are restrictions and some are absurd. Her communication is poor, she has a terrible attitude and at times was quite frankly rude. All she cares about is selling her services and if choose not to use them it clearly affects the service she gives. She turned up late on the day of the wedding and isn’t worth anywhere near the £600 you have to pay her! That being said, the venue itself is stunning.

What a lovely place! We only stayed one night due to visiting family nearby but would have loved to stay longer. A real family feel b&b with friendly hosts and a superb breakfast. Comfy bed in a cosy room, and no street lights so we slept like logs. The setting in a farm with views over fields with horses and sheep was so restful. I loved the goats in their happy field with their toys. They had just had a wedding there the day before and I could see how delightful it would be for a memorable special day. Will certainly come again if we are up that way for the night

We stayed at the lodge from 19-21 Sept taking 2 rooms with our 13 year old and 8 year old. What a fab choice it was. So cosy and warm and inviting. Breakfast was the full English cooked to perfection and the real stars were BOB and CAROL. They were so kind and helpful and hospitable. Carol went way out of her way with us- we enjoyed having an opportunity to feed the sheep and visit the stables. Carol was always happy to chat and was very generous with milk and extra servings of toast and jam along with the cooked brekkie. The grounds are simply stunning. It is no surprise that there are so many weddings here. It is simply sublime. The room we took had a lovely bath which we enjoyed - I am told it is called the bridal suite. Ample tea/ coffee and biscuits in room. I felt so sad leaving the place. The location is on a beautiful farm with the hosts living on site so if you need anything they are there. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Bob and Carol are very welcoming. The location is lovely and quiet. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was spacious and clean. I would highly recommend staying here. I can't comment on the breakfast as I left for an early flight.
