Hyatt Place Philadelphia/ King of Prussia

This hotel offers great prices for fairly large rooms. The hotel is centrally located in King of Prussia. The KoP Mall is very close by - just a $6-7 uber trip away.

Very nice reasonably priced hotel. Very clean,comfortable bed and modern furnishings. Front desk staff was very friendly and gave a very good food recommendation. Would definitely stay here again! Didn't use the pool, so can't comment on that. Breakfast could use some improvement but not terrible.

The hotel and surrounding area are rundown and the staff was fairly unresponsive. The breakfast was bad. The hotel did not look like it does online and we were extremely disappointed in this Hyatt Place experience. It is making me second guess my decision to stay at a Hyatt again. If we hadn't had a wonderful experience in one in Delaware they would be dead to me altogether. Wish corporate would have more say in keeping things clean, pleasant and safe across the board. It was too expensive for what we received.

Place is clean. Otherwise, broken elevator with no AC, offering waffles with no syrup, broken ice machine on 2nd floor, urinals missing in mens room on first floor. This was for a small business off-site (2 days). Not the best place fpr it, but if the price is less then surrounding area then its “ok”. The room was clean but you had to go down to lobby for bottled waters. Otherwise- you get the idea and the management at Hyatt needs to fix the problems and make sure they are stocked appropriately

I have stayed at many Hyatt hotels throughout the country. This hotel is not a Hyatt. It may have the Hyatt name but not the Hyatt standards. If you ok with that you will like the hotel. If you’re looking for a clean, nice smelling, elevator working, edible morning breakfast hotel, keep looking.

It's always fun to pull up to a hotel with a huge orange sticker on the front door large enough to see from the street. Upon closer look they should hire staff to clean up the garbage and cigarette butts overflowing from the cigarette collector as well as the overstuffed rodent boxes scattered all around the outside. Maybe it was the comfort of an indoor overstuffed chair, outside on the deck mixed in with the outdoor furniture, that compelled me to go inside. Once inside the greeting was fine and were sent on our way to the 1 working elevator to my floor. Upon arrival, you became quite aware that the rodent boxes outside were overstuffed as the smell of death lingers in the hallways prevalently. On to the room. Clean enough dirty stain on my couch cushion but that could be just wear and tear I hoped. The chair for the desk had a large rip in it. Towels were a greyish white not white. We will not discuss the dirty rugs Keep your shoes on. Off to get ice only to find they have no working ice machines in this establishment. You will have to call the front desk to get ice and this means a trip in the 1 elevator up and down so around 15 minutes round trip. The air conditioning worked and it worked hard. It was either on freezing or off and you could smell death. We chose to freeze. Time to talk about other travelers in the hotel. I definitely saw a few of them when we attempted to go to the Free breakfast. Instead of describing the breakfast (if that's what they would like to call it) I would just say The mall is right down the road and in this hotel, you get what you pay for. I got the feeling that there was quite a few extended guests in this hotel the kind that live there. Did I feel safe staying here NO. Would I return NO. Would I recommend this NO. I tried to make this review not as bad as the stay was, because if I wrote everything, I would still be writing.
