We originally planned to stay at Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge for just one night until we met the lovely Peaches whose passion and enthusiasm inspired us to do the Twin Flame Falls scenic flight and experience. What an incredible decision. We felt so privileged to have Asia as our pilot and guide. She was a little ray of sunshine and the heart of what be came an unforgettable experience. Thankyou Asia for making our experience so special. Paul and Lisa 🫶🫶

Even if there was a choice of where to stay in this part of the world, this would be a good one. The setting is stunning. The facility is spacious and well-maintained, and right next to the airstrip and parking. The entire facility has good wifi as well. The staff is truly exceptional. Emily met us on arrival, provided the day’s plan and got us settled at breakfast. Once done, we met Eva, our guide for Twin Flame Falls with pilot Jay. She showed us how to hide in the little pocket under the upper waterfall, which is a glorious swimming hole. The return is a fun flight down the gorge and the Isdell River back to the lodge. Afternoon was a hike up Matthew Gorge with our guide, Asia, who is normally a pilot. The lower swimming hole had a number of people already so we walked a bit further to the upper swimming hole - worth it! On the walk back, Asia showed us how to eat green ants. The staff here did an amazing job for us. I would be remiss in not thanking Carine and Danielle for their planning to make this trip come together. We plan to return to see more of this area, and we would definitely stay overnight or several nights.

A spectacular stay at an oasis amongst the dust of the Gibb! Spacious and scenic campground and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our highlight was a chopper ride up to Reva Falls- just us and pilot Jay. Swimming in pristine pools below waterfalls, nibbles and bubbles - it was an absolutely amazing experience. But the takeoff through the gorge to return was breathtaking. And the sunset was fabulous . If you get the chance stay here. If you can do the “Twin Flames” tour you will not be disappointed!

What an amazing few days spent at Mt Hart. The park was great the staff were amazing especially Ludo our friendly bar man who went above and beyond to serve us. Thanks Ludo. We did a helicopter ride over Twin Flames Falls OMG it was the best, highly recommend it. Our Pilot Asia was just the best pilot so very friendly and very knowledgeable. The flight was just the best experience we have ever had. Then to finish off the day having a cocktail with Asia and Jay another helicopter pilot was just the icing on the cake. Thank you so much making our stay at Mt Hart so very memorable. Do so hope to see you sometime real soon. Cheers to our visit to Mt Hart. Rick & Val , Chris & Beno

What a wonderful Oasis. Courtney and James our camp hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We had battery problems they did everything to help us out and also made sure we were picked up in the safari truck to watch the state of origin football at the bar. Food was fantastic. Fish & chips and pizza. Definitely worth the drive in.

Mt Hart is a great location but it’s expensive and there’s not much to do. The safari tents are the top of the range accomodation but dont come with a small fridge or any air con. You are not allowed to park your car near the Safari tents. Ours faced due west, the runway and main access road and it was 34 every day !! The bar and restaurant and OK but obviously expensive. There are 3 small trips to do here but none of them are real gorges. Helicopter rides available but $$$$.

We had a bell side tent by the river and it was great the rest of the family could camp right next to it. The kids had hours of fun on the little river with the swing cord and pedal boat. The restaurant was wonderful, if a tad pricey but not unexpected considering the remote location. Free washing available too. The one down for us was the camping facilities - as we drove in on the first day, the septic tank spread a strong odour in the air. The communal camping facilities themselves were not very clean: to the point that we abstained from taking a shower ... Considering the price tag differential, Mt Elizabeth showers were way cleaner …
