Had to stay at The Ross (my maiden name)- it did not disappoint! Was upgraded to a lovely suite- with a fireplace! , and the best bed we encountered for over five weeks of motels. The breakfast was also a triumph! Best scones I have ever tasted. The staff were friendly, and very courteous and helpful. Would love to go back one day and spend more time in Ireland, and The Ross.

We loved our stay at The Ross! We were towards the end of our journey through the UK and put this hotel toward the top of our stays! The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast each morning is delicious! You order from a menu but they will make your eggs however you prefer. Loved the scones! We got a Junior Suite and loved the extra space after being in much smaller rooms for much more money! As I mentioned, the hotel is in a perfect location…easy walking to everything but more quiet at night. We highly recommended this hotel!

The Ross hotel was absolutely wonderful. Its location is perfect. It's a fun trendy hotel. My family stayed there on our visit from the US to celebrate our children's graduations. They were welcomed with a lovely letter of congrats and platter of yummy desserts. Our room was upgraded, which was a wonderful surprise. My daughter loved the breakfast platter with different scones and breads. The rooms are stunning and very clean. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We stayed at a mixture of hotels and B and Bs during our recent trip through counties Clare and Kerry. The Ross was my favorite of the lot. The front desk is staffed by professional and kind people who make time for all your questions. Our room was lovely. I especially appreciated the Irish Voya products in the bath and the excellent beds with high quality mattresses. We also enjoyed eating supper in the hotel restaurant. We were just too tired to bother going out to find an eatery in the rain after returning from our hike in the national park. Turned out to be a wise choice. I had seafood chowder in several places and the Ross’ version was the best by far. Wish I’d had more time there and would return in a heartbeat if I ever travel to Killarney again.

We loved our stay at The Ross. Here are the features we appreciated the most: 1. Location. Leave the hotel and walk in any direction for excellent food and music. The Ross is truly at the center of the action. 2. Breakfast. The staff was warm, welcoming, and the food was delicious. This was by far our favorite breakfast in all the hotels we stayed at. 3. The room. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and well lit. We will be returning to The Ross on our next visit to Killarney. On another note, Killarney was our favorite city in all of ireland. If you are planning your trip, I would spend your time in Galway, Doolin and Killarney and skip all of eastern Ireland. Don't bother with Kinsale, Cork or Kilkenney. Killarney has everything you want!!

The minute you want into the Ross Hotel to the moment you check out you are made feel welcome and looked after your every need. The staff are friendly and nothing is not too to ask. The check in experience was fab, we checked online so picked up our key and given a detailed account of what the hotel has to offer. The room was fab , we stayed in the junior Suite. The food and cocktails in the lane , again just gorgeous. The chicken wings and the cocktails hit the spot. Staying with the food topic, breakfast was another hit. ,with every thing brought to the table A nice change from a buffet, our waitress was top notch and could not be more attentive and just lovely. We will be back.

Great location, attentive staff, elevated, charming design/decor and the food is fantastic! THE BEST breakfast ever. Obsessed with the scrumptious prawn curry. Highly recommend.First time in Killarney but we’ll definitely be back to stay at The Ross.

The Ross was recommended to us by friends, and this hotel did not disappoint! We stayed at 7 different hotels on our family trip to Ireland, and The Ross was voted the best by all 4 members of our family. It’s in the perfect location, and the Double Double room was a great size for my family of 4. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the soap smells amazing, and the beds are comfortable. Pair that with the wonderful breakfast, attentive staff, and the hotel’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices, this is a hotel we will stay at again when we return to Ireland.
