Killarney Mountain Lodge

My wife and I arrived on a Wednesday for a 2 night stay. We had a King room booked on the second floor of the Covered Portage. The smoke detector was hanging down by the wires so I notified the desk. I was told someone would be up to fix it. Never happened. The clock didn't work either and trying to get the room door open required a lot of jimmying. The stairwell was filthy and the ground around the bottom deck was covered with cigarette butts. The first night we ate in the Main lodge. My ribs were so charred it was like trying to eat charcoal. They did apologize and comped my meal. Also unfortunately, there was a large group (35-40) men there for a fishing event. Some got REALLY drunk, super loud with tons of swearing. Same thing the second night. The best meal was breakfast. The food we were served at our dinners was not great. The one kudo I must give out was the manager Andres. He went above and beyond to make our stay more pleasant and provided us with an excellent wine tasting experience. Final note. The music being played in the great lodge, restaurant and bar was an endless stream of country. For those of us who are not fans of country, at least try and mix it up a bit more. Fortunately the weather was good, the hiking fantastic and the scenery outstanding.

I stayed at this beautiful property for two nights and its perfect spot to spend on weekends away from busy metropolitan lifestyle. Rooms are spacious with beautiful lake view and each room has nice cozy chair at front where you can just relax and enjoy the nature. So much to explore at provincial park from kayaking on lake plus point free of cost for hotel guests or nearby hikes to enjoy the nature. We enjoyed the our boat trip which takes you around the lake for sightseeing. Both restaurants at the property have a great ambiance with varieties of menu options. Fresh fish from the lake is must try . We truly enjoyed our time and all the staff made us feel so welcome and special. Surely visiting again.

Had a fantastic restful & relaxing 2 night stay! Staff were super friendly. Room was very cozy and slept well on comfy mattress. Room was very clean and great towels too! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the outdoor patio, had the avocado breakfast wrap both mornings! Jesse and his team made it an unforgettable weekend. Great staff & service. Enjoyed two breathtaking boat adventures, a real treat. Wonderful getaway on gorgeous Georgian Bay.

I went there as part of my work for our annual Sales Kickoff. The place was more than perfect. The scenery of Georgian Bay is breathtaking. It is a small, beautiful, peaceful and quiet village. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was very attentive, smiling, kind and very warm. The buildings are rustic wooden, very warm, ultra clean and very cozy. The room was large, well lit, very clean and the bed ultra comfortable. The food was excellent and the menu very good choice. Despite the fact that this place is a little far, the trip is really worth it. Thank you KML, will miss you...

Amazing place great hospitality. Food was great room was clean and staffs would go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Our stay was amazing special thanks to Fa for making us feel so special. I would recommend everyone to visit killarney mountain lodge. I advise everyone to go for a boat tour with bungy he is simply amazing with his 40+ yrs experience he will make you day. I will definitely visit killarney again.

Incredibly friendly staff. Beautiful location right on the water. They offer canoes and kayaks to hotel guest. Free washing machine and dryer, if you can get in. The pool looked nice, but was closed when we were there because of a glass spill. plenty of lounge chairs, game rooms, and other amenities to keep you busy. We went to the expensive restaurant, good food, but very pricey. The adjacent town is only a few blocks long, but very cute to walk along. Fabulous service from college kids from other countries.
