Days Inn by Wyndham Kill Devil Hills Oceanfront - Wilbur

The staff provides excellent, friendly service. Guests appreciate the spacious, well-equipped rooms, convenient beachfront location, and varied, quality breakfast. The cleanliness of rooms and amenities is consistently praised.

The rooms was nice. We had a king suite and had plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable. Sofa was ok if you put a pillow behind your back for support. Luris our housekeeper was great, always fresh linens. Breakfast was plentiful and good each morning. Lemonade and cookies were in the lobby. Original hardwood flooring in the bedroom part of the suite was great and original hardwood wood trim in the hallway was beautiful.. Our only complaint was in our 40 plus years of traveling we had to call the front desk because of the loud music coming from the room above us. At midnight they were still going strong and finally around 12:30 we called and complained and said they would take care of it and they did. .if you ever remodel though they need more insulation between floors because you can hear everything from the people above you. If allowed it would be nice if you could put the sand threads farther out towards the beach. Sand thickness is hard on old knees. Because of the height of the dunes there isn't a beach view if this matters.
