John Yancey Oceanfront Inn

The location is great! The beachfront terrace was a really nice facility. The cleanliness of the hotel was a bit disappointing. I guess it's because the facilities are old.

The hotel is located right on the beach, so the location is the best. The rooms look old, but they are clean. The breakfast is also good.

Shower impractical, breakfast was

They booked two four-person rooms in two hotels. However, they were unable to arrange isolation rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. As a result, the electronic lock on the first floor was broken. It took a lot of time to go back and forth before finally arranging for us to change rooms. If the room you change is in another building The room is tidy and the bathroom is very big and clean Friendly front desk and rich breakfast with many choices 

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en juillet 2025 au John Yancey Oceanfront Inn, et ce fut une excellente expérience ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était grande, propre et confortable, bien équipée avec TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café et frigo. Un vrai cocon pour se reposer entre deux excursions. Le personnel a été très accueillant, disponible et chaleureux, ce qui a grandement contribué à l’ambiance détendue du séjour. L’hôtel est idéalement situé sur Bodie Island, en bord d’océan avec accès direct à la plage – un vrai luxe ! C’est également un point de départ parfait pour découvrir les nombreuses attractions des Outer Banks : Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey's Ridge State Park, Roanoke Island, le phare de Bodie… Tout est à proximité. Parmi les services de l’hôtel : parking gratuit, piscine, machine à glace, et un petit déjeuner inclus avec pas mal de choix (très apprécié avant de partir explorer la région). En résumé : un hôtel confortable, très bien situé et avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix. On recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour aux Outer Banks !
