Good service with excellent food

First night room ok cramped
Service and food in restaurant v poor or average at best
Staff not organised
Veg options poor
Second night disaster with rubbish support from reception over repeated complaints about noise from next room
Reception had private mobile number of that guest so something v strange going on.
Follow up by James manager also poor
Expensive for lack of quality and service we received
Owners should be alarmed.

My wife and I recently stayed in Kilkenny Hibernian and we absolutely love everything about it. The food, hospitality and service is incredible. We stay here once, maybe twice a year and there’s a reason why we always come back. Right in the heart of Kilkenny town, everywhere is walkable. The barman Bosco is so good at his job as is everyone else. Andrew and his team have an amazing set up and we definitely look forward to visiting again later in the year.

Lovely town centre hotel. Building has great character and the very classy residents bar stayed open nice and late. Breakfast was sound and the staff were friendly and helpful!

Excellent hospitality, service and the staff so friendly. The hotel is very central, walking distance to all amenities. The food is excellent in the hotel. The hotel also has live music each night in the bar. Great selection of cocktails..

This is definitely the best hotel experience that I have had in several years. The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is up with the best that you will get in Kilkenny.
