The best thing about this property is it's location right on the beach. We had a ground floor room that was like 20 feet from the beach with a great view. The facility is well maintained but it is showing it's age a bit. The bar on the grounds has great sandwiches and snacks but that is the only food on site. You have to drive to eat and even in the off season there is a lot of traffic.

The unit we stayed in had a beautiful view, the unit was decorated nicely but was a bit under equipped. The instructions for the washing machine said to use the brand supplied, but none was supplied. There were no serving bowls, no cheese grater, and only 2 pool towels. Only 1 TV and many stations but no current programs.
We must be spoiled at the other condos we have stayed at. Not complaining just advising to be aware.

We had a very pleasant stay. Communication with management was great. Always got a quick response. Room had a nice view for whale watching. Beach was walkable for about a mile in each direction.

Best accommodation
The condo was clean, safe and had so many small touches that made our stay like home. For example, my husband got sunburned, and there was alow vera gel in the cupboard. We loved the lovely hawaiian decor 😍

I wish I could live at Sugar Beach Resort!
I recommend Sugar Beach Resort. The facility is very clean, the grounds are well maintained and the view is perfect. Right on the oceanfront with a private beach, it is a perfect place to visit.

Thanksgiving vacation
Great location right on the beach - also centrally located on the island. Shopping was conveniently located within a few minute drive. Plenty of restaurants near by. Onsite activities were plentiful with snorkeling equipment and body boards available to rent on site. Would definitely return in the future

Smelly
Condo was clean, however dryer duct runs to the bathroom and that desperately needs to be cleaned , when using the bathroom fan dryer lint blows into the bathtub. Seems like this is a fire hazard! The area around the property has a strong sewage smell that we did not experience anywhere else on the property, for this reason we would not stay in this resort again.
