Located in central Kihei, nestled on the northern end of beautiful Halama Street. Family-owned and operated legal short-term rental. This ocean front, 2 BR 1 BA unit, has a full kitchen, bathroom and a sofa sleeper pullout in the living room. It’s located on the ground floor, with a private entrance and a covered porch with a gas grill. A larger picnic table and a gas grill is available for use in the back yard, along with beach chairs to watch the sunsets and lounge chairs for sun tanning or just relaxing. The beach is about 300 feet from the building with a large yard of green grass and palm trees leading to the seemingly private beach. Enjoy the amazing sea turtles that crawl up and rest on the sandy beach with good snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, wind and kite sailing, pole fishing, shelling and more. Don't forget to keep an eye for the passing whales. Ocean equipment is available at the numerous rental shops in town. Centrally located near banks, post office, stores, medical clinics, supermarkets, shops, restaurants and more. Tucked away from the big resorts and high tourist filled areas, you can enjoy your own little piece of paradise. This is Unit # 1: 2BR/1BA (downstairs). We also have a recently remodeled 1 BR 1 BA first floor unit, an upper 2BR/1 BA unit (Contact owner for more information and pictures). The apartment building consists of a total of four units and every unit is ocean front. Stairs are necessary to access the all units, including those on the bottom floor, cottage, backyard and beach area. Island Paradise
We took our family of five to Maui to celebrate Christmas. The house was perfect. Michael was a great host, gifting us a fresh pineapple, Christmas cookies, & multiple ideas for how to spend our time on the island. Being able to walk out the back door onto the beach anytime we wanted was the best!

Awesome!
Perfect place to stay. Quiet, private and close to the beach. Best place for a Maui sunset. Michael is the best host by far. Always has suggestions of what to do locally like places to eat, things to do, etc. He's an awesome guy!!

Iowans enjoying Mai for the second time.
We stayed at this house 5 years ago and vowed to return. The host, Michael, is a wonderful host! He is helpful in every way. The property is perfect for watching sunsets, turtles, and whales from his yard. We hope to return!

Amazing!
This house is everything and MORE! We had an amazing time and Mike was a pure pleasure to work with. The house is equipped with everything you need as well as most things you could want! There are chairs, umbrellas, water shoes, flippers, snorkels, sand toys, and boogie boards! You can show up with a bathing suit and be ready to hit the beach.
The yard was wonderful! A volleyball net, bocce balls, and comfortable chairs make for a truly enjoyable day. When you’re done in the grass you can run straight to the beach. We had no less than 3 green sea turtles swimming in the surf with us, every day, right off the beach. And the whale shows were incredible. Sunsets, whales and turtles made our vacation top notch.
And to top it all off, you are close to everything in Kihei!

Amazing place!
The house was just as described. Right on the beach, so clean and had everything we needed. Mike is a wonderful host who gave lots of great recommendations. His place is stocked with everything you need for the beach, snorkeling and hanging out. We will be back!

Perfect Spot
The perfect spot, in the perfect town, with perfect weather, whales, turtles, monk seals, sunsets, and aloha from the host Mike. Cannot say enough about this place. Very comfortable, affordable, just a happy place. Mahalo Mike!!

Family trip to Maui-3 adult children
Property was perfect for our family! Unit 1 had two bedrooms and a fold-out couch in the living room. Host Michael was wonderful to chat with. Lots of history in the area and good recommendations for things to do. Wonderful to walk out the back door across a green lawn and be right on the beach. Saw turtles as well as some whales in the distance. Adult kids spent time in the water. Used it as a homebase for seeing all of Maui, but certainly could have spent a lot of time here relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Fantastic!
Perfect beach front location in Kihei, minutes away from many restaurants and grocery shopping. We had a fabulous time and Michael was a great host.
